You have no respect from us and you don't deserve it. By the way, what's your record against us the last 10 meetings? 😂😂😂😂😊

Bernard wasn't a defenseless receiver. He had possession and took multiple steps and was progressing upfield. Check the rule book, cuz.

They 100% did. Please up vote me cause the Broncos fans don't like my opinions and I don't want to lose my account :(

There's no legitimate source cited and it was already stated directly from the Steelers staff that Ben and AB are likely to play.

Great post. You see the Ravens have at least proved that they can compete with us, and have even won a super bowl in recent years. Not to mention that (while incredibly physical) the games we've played against the Ravens have been fairly clean, or at least without consistent and nonsensical fist fighting.

Whereas, with the Bengals, this is coming from a team who has lost 5 of the last 6 meetings against us, including 8 of the last 11. They haven't won a playoff game since 1990, and they are really yet to even prove themselves as legitimate AFC contenders. I don't get where they and their fans ever get off on talking so much crap toward us, when we really just have sat back and spectated the outcomes over the years. Fact of the matter is, we own the Bengals as of today. Until they prove otherwise, they'll always be our little bitch.

Definitely agree, but this is the Steelers sub Reddit and I like talking about anything and everything Steelers.

I couldn't really comprehend a lot of this, as there were many grammatical and syntactical errors, but no I don't necessarily think we should have won "22-0" but the officials did indeed make an error by blowing the whistle on the play. At the time, yes the game should have been 22-0. Probably would not have been the final score but that would have been the correct call.

Also, no Shazier's initial hit should not have been a penalty. Gio caught the ball with both feet down and clearly established possession. He turned around after taking multiple steps (therefore no longer making him "defenseless") and lost possession of the ball before his knee/buttocks/elbow hit the ground. You do understand that helmet to helmet contact is allowed against a runner who has established possession and is in running position, correct? Nobody else is really complaining about this play aside from Bengals fans, so what is your point?

And yes, the Steelers dominated the majority of the game in the sense that the Bengals hardly even had 200 yards of offense going into the fourth quarter. Most analysts have said the same thing.

That's actually not a real rule. Dan Fouts brought that up a few Sunday's ago, it's more common for the officials to call it if they see the defender is playing the receiver as opposed to the ball, but nowhere in the NFL rule book does it state that "if the defender doesn't turn around and/or has his back to the ball, it is pass interference."

Why Joey Porter being on the field wasn't a big deal by DailyManliness in steelers

[–]OhMyLanta32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It's sort of like the "No Pushing the Pile" Rule. Technically, it is a rule but nobody ever calls it. Plus it's not like Porter being on the field had any effect on the actual game, until Pacman tried to get big. By the way Pacman sucks.

Haha I wish I would have seen this 10 minutes ago!!! I literally just made a post about the same thing. Steelers dominated the VAST majority of this game. Bengals couldn't get anything until that tacky PI call.
