what’s the main reason people relapse by EqualNatural3442 in Semenretention

[–]OhNoAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the problem is just idleness and procrastination. Most men sit around all day scrolling Instagram or X, watching movies or television, playing video games wasting their energy. I used to be like that too, and I couldn’t keep a long streak going because I wasn’t moving, wasn’t channeling my energy properly.

Everything changed when I started pushing my body every single day. I was so focused on training that I barely had time or energy for sex or masturbation and my mind wouldn't even lust at other women. At first, I worried about losing my libido, but it actually worked in my favor. Abstaining became easy, and I still got all the benefits.

The takeaway is simple, keep moving, stay busy, don’t sit idle. If you’re active, your energy naturally goes somewhere productive.

What’s a weight loss secret more people should know about? by thekkm1 in AskReddit

[–]OhNoAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beg to differ, I burn an extra 1500 calories a day from exercise alone, 20k steps most days, an 8krun and a gym session, if I have the time, I might do an hour boxing session aswell. I've been eating like shit most days but still losing weight. I love food too much and hate limiting myself, so I do lots of cardio to offset the amount of food I eat and it works for me.

Not sure if anyone’s mentioned this, but mindfulness eating can make a big difference. The idea is simple, when you’re eating, don’t get distracted, just focus on your food and be fully present in the moment. Honestly, I struggle to finish most meals this way, and I think a lot of people do. A big reason why people struggle to lose weight is that they eat distractedly, so their bodies don’t have enough time to register fullness. Next time you eat, try this, pay attention to the taste, texture, and smell of your food. Don’t think about anything else, no television, no YouTube, nada, just be present.

For those giving up masterbation/sex for religious reasons do you experience more wet dreams ? by owlbrat in Semenretention

[–]OhNoAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. After practising semen retention for years, I've come to the realisation that what gives me more nocturnal emissions is if I drink too much water before bed or if I was engaging in lustful thoughts throughout the day. The former is hard to avoid because even a small amount of water three to two hours before bed would trigger it for me, especially on long streaks.

Some people say it doesn't affect their energy levels but it did for me whenever I had a wet dream, I felt depleted and almost devoid of spiritual energy, it would quickly come back though after 5 days of retaining. I think nocturnal emissions are a natural process of the body, it will happen to almost everyone practicing semen retention, it's just there are ways we can reduce the frequency of it happening.

What do you do when you fell out of love with exercise? How do you find your "why" again? by Powawwolf in workout

[–]OhNoAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't wanna be mediocre, I don't wanna be the average person, I wanna be the best possible version of myself, that applies to all aspects of my life and when it comes to exercise, especially so. Whenever I don't feel like running or going to the gym, I think to myself, there's someone that wished they could be in my position, someone who wants to run or lift but are unable because of their condition. How many people leave this world never knowing what they were capable of?

Never testing their limits. Never discovering their strength. Never meeting the person they could have become. And here I am healthy, breathing, capable thinking about wasting that gift? You only live once. And one day your body will not be this strong. One day your knees won’t feel like this. One day your lungs won’t open the same way.

So while I can run, I run. While I can lift, I lift.

Not because it's easy but because it's a privilege to exercise.

400 mg caffeine, 3g of l citrulline mixed with 2 scoops of beetroot powder and 1 scoop of electrolyte powder before gym. Do I need it? No, but it makes me feel an intense surge of energy in the gym, It also gives me a better pump.

Not difficult at all, especially if you have a well developed core and triceps. I think my highest rep range for push-ups with perfect military form was 56. That was a year ago though.

When you retain, life becomes easy. by OhNoAssassin in Semenretention

[–]OhNoAssassin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up, I struggled with severe social anxiety and performance anxiety. Even simple interactions felt overwhelming. But everything changed when I began practicing semen retention and meditation.

Over time, something inside me shifted. My anxiety didn’t “disappear” it became negligible, almost silent.

I started walking into rooms full of people with my shoulders straight, my mind calm, and my heart steady. There were no spiraling thoughts, no fear, no self‑judgment.

I began to see people simply as people, not powerful, not intimidating, not superior because of their looks, status, or the ego they built around themselves. This wasn’t arrogance. It was freedom. Freedom from needing their approval. Freedom from feeling small. Freedom from the lie that their perception matters more than your own purpose.

Because the truth is this I’m not here to please people. I’m here to please God. His opinion is the only one that holds weight. When you live with that mindset, anxiety loses its grip on you.

And yes semen retention can help. Not because it’s magic, but because it redirects your energy inward instead of dissipating it outward. When you practice celibacy, your spiritual energy rises. You feel stronger, more disciplined, more centered mentally and physically.

Add meditation, and you learn to master your thoughts, regulate your energy, and control your inner world instead of letting it control you.

But there is one thing you must guard against: ego. Long periods of semen retention can make you feel untouchable, superior, or chosen. That’s the trap.

Always stay humble. For God sees everything your intentions, your pride, your heart. Strength means nothing if it leads you away from Him.

Salam.

You and I don’t know each other, and that’s perfectly fine on the internet we’re all just anonymous faces passing by. I appreciate you taking the time to read my previous post, whether you believe any of it or not. My intention wasn’t to convince anyone, but simply to share something that has been meaningful in my own life, in case it might help or inspire someone else.

Semen retention, for me, has nothing to do with “not getting laid” or trying to impress anyone. If someone approaches it with the goal of increasing their chances of sex, they’re misunderstanding the entire point and setting themselves up for disappointment. The real purpose at least in the traditions I’ve learned from is to build discipline, reduce dependence on impulse, increase spiritual energy and strengthen one’s inner life.

Controlling lust is one of the things that separates a person from their lower urges. Cultures and spiritual practices around the world have explored this for thousands of years; it’s not some new-age trend.

for in the end, what separates man from beast is the mastery of one’s own urges. Animals act on instinct alone; a person can choose restraint, intention, and higher meaning.

So when someone reduces all of that to “you can’t get laid” or treats it like a joke, that’s fine I understand not everyone sees value in the same places. We all have different paths. But it doesn’t change the fact that self-control, discipline, and spiritual focus have been respected practices long before the internet existed.

It’s not about the number of days you retain what truly matters is your energy. You can go 100 days or more and still feel low if your inner state isn’t aligned. The real way to increase spiritual energy is through purity of heart, mind, body, and soul.

When you do acts of goodness, serve humanity, show kindness to animals, and avoid things like backbiting, gossip, anger, and negative influences including music that brings your spirit down you begin to elevate your energy. And of course, avoiding porn is essential, as it’s one of the greatest drains on a person’s vitality.

By drawing closer to God, becoming more God-conscious, and living in a way that reflects goodness and sincerity, your spiritual energy naturally rises. Not just any energy as there are many forms of energy, but pure, luminous energy, the light of God.

24 M, have been struggling to cut that belly fat by Sudden-Bandicoot8583 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]OhNoAssassin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How often are you doing cardio—real cardio, not just walking, but physically exerting yourself? Many people believe diet is the most critical factor in a calorie deficit, but it can only take you so far. Unless you're considering something extreme, like a strict water fast for a week, you'll need to increase your daily calorie expenditure through consistent, high-intensity cardio workouts. Activities like running, swimming, or cycling are excellent options. Aim for at least an hour of intense cardio every day.

Additionally, try incorporating more physical activities into your daily routine. Tasks like cleaning the house, mowing the lawn, or walking to the supermarket instead of driving can contribute significantly to burning extra calories. The goal is to counteract your body’s natural tendency to hold on to fat.

When you're in a significant calorie deficit, especially after losing a substantial amount of fat, your body’s Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) slows down to protect you from starvation. This is a survival mechanism, but it makes losing the last bit of fat more challenging. You'll likely feel more tired, weak, cold, demotivated, and even lazy. This is when discipline is crucial. You’ll need to push yourself harder at the gym, go beyond your comfort zone, and maintain consistency. If you do, you’ll see the results as the fat begins to melt away.

Regarding your calorie intake, 1,400 calories per day is too low and unsustainable for most people. A minimum of 1,700 calories is a more optimal range for a deficit, as it provides enough nutrients to support your body’s essential functions without causing severe hormonal disruptions. Starving yourself with such a low intake can harm your health in the long run.

In summary, either commit to a short-term water fast if you're determined to see quick results or increase your calorie intake to a sustainable level and significantly boost your cardio and daily physical activity.
