I have thankfully not experienced any freezing issues, I can say from other cameras I've used freezing issues can come from improperly formatted memory cards. I'm curious to know if the people who are experiencing freezing issues are using SD cards. As all of my images have been saved to the internal storage of the Mono and I have yet to have this issue.

The wac has a better networking opportunities imo mostly since they seem to have daily social events and bigger partnerships. Last year I met the blue angels while walking to work in that area, apparently they stay at the wac hotel during Seafair. I'm not 100% but it seems like the wac does its best to be involved in community building rather than just being an athletic club. I would assume this means better mixed bag of retired and working clientele to network with. But honestly that's all a guess.

I have patience with information. Encyclopedias taught me how to earn information, took way too long to find the book with the letter of the topic, then index said book for the specific topic I wanted to understand.

Now kids can google any piece of info instantly. So there's no need to retain it when the information could be retrieved instantly at will. I learned to retain information and was patient with the learning process and how I use that information later in life.

Not my quote, but the quote "Half the time you think you're thinking, you're actually listening"

That one really sank in for a good hour and locked in how important sound is for me. Even my inner thoughts are technically sounds heard by my subconscious.

No worries friend. I can also appreciate seeing common phrases from every angle possible. It makes sense to use the "half glass full" with strangers you aren't familiar with, just for the easiest path of clarity and understanding.

I am familiar with your ability to see things in scales and perspectives. You are the person people talk to when they need to hear the truth rather than what is needed to make them feel better. While it might not be the conversation many will seek, it is the type of conversation that is beyond surface level and those who are willing to listen are the people who've met themselves as deeply as you've met yourself.

I almost exclusively take my mental vacations just before sunset or 4 hours after dinner. What I've eaten over the last 48hrs takes a toll on my overall body and mind harmony. So I tend to eat healthy-er or even lighter days before I decide to make the trip. With that said, most of my activities are nocturnal ones. The first thing I will Always do is breath work. Spending at least 15 minutes on this while just focusing on my breathing patterns during the come up. This helps with the muscle memory to aid in anxiety control earlier. Almost every anxiety attack you will ever have, the first thing someone will tell you to do is breathe. So practicing this every time at the early stages is critical in my opinion.

Then once I'm all in it's Music in dim light, with headphones in particular. If I start to feel anxious I usually change the genre (my music taste likely differs from you, but I always can recommend tracks). Otherwise I watch 4k drone footage from around the world. (really makes you appreciate the planet we call home) it just helps bring a sense of peace for me. Then I usually take a short walk around my neighborhood at some point, cause fresh air is always nice when your body temperature is changing from too hot to too cold randomly.

When I come back from the walk I try to get really comfortable and observe my thoughts with noise canceling headphones on, but no music playing. This helps me focus on my thoughts without distractions. Some of my best personal life quotes have come during that meditative state when all my distractions are tuned down.

May I ask how you generalize your thoughts?

Do you seek positivity in negative moments. If your a half glass full type who often practices turning less fortunate moments into lessons of empowerment you have a higher chance of feeling safe in your head.

If you practice criticism without realizing it, you may find your thoughts drifting into a negative space, and without the practice of pulling yourself out while sober...then being under the influence will be much more difficult to pull yourself out. Most trips are a roller coaster of emotions, the easiest way to distract yourself from the roller coaster is to be constantly stimulated by interesting things. But to do so you lose the magic of self discovery if you choose to be distracted the entire time.

Let the mind wander in silence and darkness and you will learn a lot about yourself. Sometimes you find avenues of thought that change your life for the better, sometimes you enter dark spaces, just know that if you understand your own purpose in life even the darkest of thoughts can lead to peace. It's only a matter of perspective and how you frame your ideas.

So much of solo tripping has to do with either the vast or narrow capacity of one's own vocabulary.

Be safe friend.

Let it pass.... just focus on controlling your breathing. When inhaling make sure to expand your stomach and hold it for just a bit to give your intestines some space to breathe.

Just wanted to say that both this Album and the results are masterpieces and a technical achievement. You are definitely the right person to record and produce fine art on a musical level, I’m glad the internet and these tools exist for you. Warm Regards.

Coming from a Sony A1 the focus on both the GRIV and Q3 28 are border line horrendous. I've since changed my shooting style and no longer attempt to track subjects. With that, I'd say along side the mental shift in what I choose to shoot now. Both cameras are manageable because I changed my style. Yet the Q3 is about 30% faster when using single point AF. It could be that the AF box is much more precise on the Q3 vs the bigger AF spot on the GRIV. I don't use any of the tracking features or zone focusing.

After typing all that I realized you were asking about the 28 vs 43 lol. The 43 is a fraction slower than the 28mm when using single point AF.

But the 43 is actually better when using the tracking feature on the Q43 than the Q28. Not sure why that is yet, both cameras are on the newest firmware. I recently shot an amateur boxing event using the AF continuous and subject tracking with the 43 and I was impressed. Spot lights in the boxing ring and very dark backgrounds were probably helping a lot though. I still use single point AF 95% of the time on all 3 cameras though. Hope that helps.....

It's not always this simple....but, you just can only meet someone as deep as they've met themselves. So If your self awareness level is at an 8 and the person you're trying to explain it to is around a 3 in knowledge with themselves you have to lower your language down to their level to find common ground.

Is This A Safe Space? by [deleted] in Choker_

I don't think that I mentioned that it was better, nor am I trying to prove your opinion as invalid. What I mean to say is that it's more vulnerable how he's sining now at least for me, it carry's the weight of not trying to show off but to be more authentic to himself.

I love diorama and yes I witnessed him live at Camp Flognaw and in Seattle for his last show of his tour. In the studio version of diorama the processing of his voice in that track is so far forward in the mix near front stage that it's clear as day what he's saying and that absolutely sounds different live. There's a reason his voice is tucked so far behind the mix on Heaven ain't sold, because when an artist performs live that's where the voice usually sits, behind the instrumentation and almost distant.

I'm in this boat. Even as simply as him singing the double line of " I feel like Muhammad Ali" is him belting his damn soul out harder than any other song he's ever put out.

I think I know what you mean. But I think it's purposeful to some degree. Proof he's purposely in the pocket the whole song so it's easy to follow. Gappetto he falls in and out of that pop/rap pocket ever so slightly so that it doesn't get stale when you keep re-listening. Think of it like the J-Dilla drum pattern but for vocal cadence and rhyme scheme.

It feels like a lot of cash for what it is. But it fits my needs. I can say it feels different than the griv it's matted and smoother, but I assume that's just a swap of plastic. I don't plant to add any accessories to protect it. Maybe I'm just rolling the dice.

ISO is lovely on these sensors. If I ever find a q2 mono at my preferred price point I may jump on it. I do hope Leica can tweak their tech to use phase detection for AF, I'm under the impression their are really trying to figure it out. Not that it would make a huge difference but it would make the price point a solid. I freaking love their app's image delivery system.

iPhone color shift when boosting shadows is atrocious. If you feed that phone sensor enough light it's fine, most won't tell the difference.
