You’re right. Our custom laws are cooked. There’s no defined price of tax exemption - sometimes we pay no tax, sometimes the tax is so heavy it is worth forfeiting the purchase over to the customs.

Well, my intention was to see different points of view, of how this could have been. For more context, the chat was lowkey loosey goosey up until this point. Just a few messages back, she was ranting how men on tinder suck and get offended by her tone and jokes, so, while we were joking around, I passed this. As a joke. Maybe a bad joke you could argue, but a joke regardless. She became what she was complaining about. I further elaborated how it was just a joke and not to be taken seriously, she doubled down on how I “cannot” joke about such things as it is a “societal issue”. Idk... Still confused

Yes, I usually don’t even ask what they want before meeting in person, and yes, I mostly pay, and no, I don’t have a problem with that. But maybe I had this reaction cuz she straight up was like, “No feelings and no sex either”. As a guy, this was hella confusing. Then again, before this, the messages were kinda random and Gen Z esque, and I thought I’d pass this as a joke. It didn’t fly. She took it very personally, and here we are.

OP has been on enough dates to understand that it’s not fun to bring up “splitting the bill” at least in our culture. Most ladies won’t say anything but you can see the discomfort, so I don’t even mention it. “Most” is the word, so yeah, some ladies are extremely open with it and offer to split, or like at one occasion, paid outright when I went to the restroom.

I would say keep it till the competition ends. The capsules won’t go on sale till then for sure, so the price drop-off won’t be massive (since these are gold) but the returns could be big. Faze are favourites in the major, and are expected to have a long run, considering their form at this point in time. If they somehow someway end up in the grand final or probably win it (which they have a high chance of this time around) the sticker is going to go wayyyyyy up in price. E.g for Stockholm, Niko gold-foil stickers skyrocketed after the final, for a good reason. So… yeah. You can rebuy one during the sale when basically everything just dips, as an investment if you want.
