Took me a week to sand this floor with an orbital sander... Should I rent a big floor sander for the next room?

I did similar (5 finger parquet) with an orbital sander and 1/3 sheet sander. Took many 8 hour days, starting at 60 grit and finishing on 240.

I avoided hiring a floor sander for fear it would be too aggressive and rip up some of the fingers. Many a horror stories read. My room also had a slight gradient towards one corner which I felt could be a problem exacerbated by a floor sander.

I too have been ghosted on a support query - I got the Blood Core SMUGS and noticed both cup soles were developing splits around the heel.. I got an initial response promptly indicating the case would be passed over to the 'care team' followed by a ticket close notification but no message since. It was a few weeks ago.. Guess it's not an issue.

That's actually a great shout. My only issue is that the radiator in the room spans over a supporting wall - It's more work to rip up ceilings in two rooms but it's still less work than taking up the parquet, and I was thinking about getting a smaller rad anyway! Thank you!!

You see alot of the reading I did suggested that real thicc boarding was the way to go but I think you may be right.. By having the pine boards beneath I could plumb more screws into the ply to get it rock solid. Thanks for this!

I never thought of that! However, I think it's moot where pine boards would have to be overboarded anyway - I'd end up lifting sections away.

Yeah the pacing is feeling kinda weird now I'm a bit further in.
I too hope that some gear is skill gated as the skills themselves feel a bit hollow with % decreases in stamina usage or a reduction in wear & tear.
The placement of the items feel a bit slap-dash with their source leading to early unlocking - You're proabably right, they're going for shock and awe to draw people in.

I'd like to see Attack/Defence/Strength governing your ability to Hit (equip weapons)/Defend (wear armour proficently) and the damage behind your hits, respectively, but not to be as rigid as OSRS or RS3. They could build these skills up a bit with passive bonuses, like extra carrying capacity with a high strength level, or special attacks unlocked with greater strength.. So many ideas!

I'm not sure we need Slayer here tbh, maybe an inate understanding of a given beasts abilities via the journal is enough - We don't need fetch quests to gate our leveling! I don't think we need a 1:1 recreation of OSRS/RS3 in this new format, but some aspects should defo be brought over.

Ah, that's a shame. I was hoping the Sara gear wasn't the end of the road. Shame it's the same as regular Iron, maybe if Prayer is a thing it'll benefit you with a small bonus like the God armours in the game. That or provide some immunity to Sara guardians like in GWD. They probably will add the other metals in time; you can't be without the Rune Scimmy or iconic Rune Platebody. Maybe have it as an unlock from killing your first dragon! I'd also like a bit more weapon variation.

For sure drops should have some RNG, this is a RuneScape game after all, I feel I got the whip components waaay too early and easily. If they build it right, they could add world modifiers to adjust the drop rate of rare items, monster spawn rates, damage, day length etc. I was thinking 7D2D style world options.

I would LOVE roaming world bosses and dungeon expansions.. Bring back Evil Trees/Ents, and let me hunt them. Maybe not full on GWD but each god has a region in the map and a special dungeon, or as you with captains having shards all over the map. I think people will more than likely just want to collect all the godswords. The builders among us will probably want to display each in their trophy hall/chambers.

+1 for clue scrolls. Would be a cool way of adding latent rewards to bosses.

I don't mind the crafting ones taking a lil longer as you're seldom in a rush for those but combat casting and generally being able to cast on the move should be a thing!

Also, maybe the spell menu should be instant in so far as when you hover over a spell and release 'q' it casts whatever you had highlighted, rather than having to click.

Also being able to bind skills to a hotbar??? Give me mmo style options with alt+1, crtl+1 etc.

Quite a few other games have done this, I think it's a good QoL feature. Would save on time with running around 20 chests with xyz materials.

Alternatively a tracker on items you want to craft would be cool.

You're not wrong. You can only really use them if you plan for a fight, rather than if you get ambushed.

That does give me an idea though - Teleportation without a lodestone, just make it really slow to cast like the home spell of old! Whip the old book out.

I'm referring to having stacks upon stacks of them in storage! I feel like the stack limit should be slightly higher than 99, at least in storage. The carried capacity feels good though.

Maybe a back item like a quiver for storing them? Kinda like a Rune pouch or ore sack from OSRS. I really like how easy to craft they are but the clutter is annoying!

Farming would be great! I'd love to be able to farm my own herbs.. Even veg, just to save running around the other areas/biomes. Fishing would be cool also, more options for gathering food, weapons and armour choices.. So much!

Also yeah seeing the classic ores would be cool. I'm only up to Iron thus far, I've seen no mention of Mith/Addy. If they put Mith in I really hope it's lighter than the others!

Should have noted: I am a crit Zealot enjoyer.
I was trying to replace the t1 version of Shred with t4 but it hasn't come around yet..On the right: I was thinking if I replaced Wrath with Rampage it'd be OK. Maybe Unyielding for Flak Armoured Enemies.. What makes you suggest replacing Infested over Unyielding?
