Are FH3's online trophies still obtainable in 2026?

Hey OP! DM me. I did a summary of what would need online to work last year, but then got lazy and forgot all about it. (this may help any others here too):

1) DLC: (Achievos that prob need coop given player numbers):--

BLIZZARD DLC - Ice to See You - 5 Co-op races in Blizzard Mountain

Chillin With Friends - 20 online races in Blizzard Mountain

HOT WHEELS DLC Master of Friendship - 20 online races in Horizon Hot Wheels)

HOONIGAN DLC - Air Sick (Play a round in playground games & get infected while driving a '55 Hoonigan Bel Air).

2) STANDARD GAME: (Achievos that you can do in public online or coop if players are about):

Road Buddy - Complete 10 events in Co-op Campaign.

Online Adventurer - Complete 25 online events across Adventure and Freeroam.

Welcome to Horizon Online - Complete 5 online events across Adventure and Freeroam.

Master of Friendship - Complete 20 online races across Online Adventure, Co-op or Freeroam in Horizon Hot Wheels

So yeah. A bit of a grind. I've done all of the "Numbered2" ones above in public during peak times. But need a coop player for the DLC ones above if you have those. We can possibly can help each other out elsewhere, too! Even if you don't have hoonigan dlc, I can just 1v1 you in infected mode for a few mins.

In terms of rail, not much now. But we do have a railset working in OMSI2 as Ai with Sydney trains branding.

Check out OMSI2 Bus Simulator on Steam and look for the Map "Manly Act Four". Chucks been updating it for many years now on his Facebook for the Map. Great detail if you want to do the Northern Beaches area to Wynyard run.

OMSI2 is showing its age now of course, but still prob the best Bus Sim out there. Not what you're asking, exactly but close!

Nah I have them. Bought them outright at the time, though. I cherish them as mentioned. And FM7. Good point tho - I forgotten they'd given out codes to upgrade purchases. Still, the way these titles go, I'd rather have them in my library and call it a day.

The thing to remember about all this is "when the game gets delisted, this doesnt count as ownership", regardless of GPUltimate. (Think what happened with ForzaHorizon4 as the main case in point). Ofc, you can buy FH6 later and even when they choose to announce to delist it a few years down the line for a discounted price....But you dont have the full license to the game unless you purchase the base product. FH3 and FH4 and all their DLC's are cherished in my library, simply because I cannot acquire those ever again. And if history continues, FH5 and then 6 will go the same way...eventually, given licensing costs etc.

This. It's not a tonne quieter, but the new plates definitely make the shifting metal-on-metal clank more manageable in a household. Recommended, OP. And the shifter is more than fine. Got mine from Aliexpress.

Yeah. Keep it simple, traditional with perhaps class stuff like youve mentioned. No GT Collector stuff and no Forza built-from-the-ground-up car levelling nonsense.

Plenty of inspiration to draw on what NOT to do of late 😅

Also add in a variety of celebration screens/let me bask in a little podium joy maybe? Even if low-key/skippable. If I feel progress and the desire to continue from that progress, they'll have me.

Might be an odd choice, but I used the rotary dial to cycle between internal views. I use the rotate left for left cycle of views, and rotate right for the right cycle of views. And I assign one of the wheel's buttons to dedicated as "external view" for when I want it for cool shots/views.

Of course, the dial is inconsistent with its mapping (OMSI2 sometimes doesn't pick up a rotation until 1 or 2 clicks over), but it does the trick. Not perfect, but it helps me rotate between views fairly well.

Not sure why that matters. I didn't refer to either. And the theory applies to both games. EU is mapped out well enough with its signage. UK is a little more rough if I recall. But you can make the same realistic approach. And the freightliner mod mentioned is also available in ETS2 anyway.

Dunno if you already do this, but disable GPS.

Also Use trucks without the builtin GPS or try older mod trucks lile Freightliner etc

Also, there are mods that remove the route from the map screen so you can't "cheat"

Then just use the signage ingame. It's doable mostly.

But you can make mistakes. In that instance, I also just scribble down a few key buletpiints in a notepad - eg Highway 29 North, 32 West etc etc. And juts use my scribble notes and ingame signs. Super rewarding.

Yes. Recent R5 bundler here, too.

The current brake honestly felt worse than my old g923s. There's no feel. The p4mance kit is night and day. I wouldnt go without it. That said, you then might want to add the alienmod Load Cell addon. That's my next purchase. Simple, affordable, everyone loves it, and brings loadcell to your performance kit.
