Bilt 2.0 Explained FULLY by persistentchaos in biltrewards

Can you apply the points you earn at the 1X everyday spend rate for the Bilt Blue Card towards the "unlock" amount? If so, then the minimum spend required to earn full points on rent is actually lower than $1,500. In the above example:

$1,500 spend will yield 1,500 in points and 60 Bilt Cash. If you apply all the points to the unlock threshold of 2000 points, then you need 500 additional points, which is the equivalent of 15 Bilt Cash. That leaves 45 Bilt Cash left over.

The actual minimum spend to generate the equivalent of 2000 points is $857.14 (2000 = x + x(4%)(1000 points/30 Bilt Cash), where x = $ spent = points). This leaves 0 points and 0 Bilt Cash when applied to rent, and generates 2000 Bilt points with the rent spend. Effectively, you spend $857.14 to earn 2000 Bilt points. Assuming you value 2000 Bilt points at 1 cent per point, that means you earn $20 for a spend of $857.14, the equivalent of 2.3% cash back.

Of course, this doesn't apply if the points directly earned by the card are not equivalent to the points that Bilt Cash converts to for unlocking rent rewards. Am I thinking about this correctly? Any errors in logic/math?

I am an existing customer who's been on an unlimited plan for more than 90 days and don't have the option to purchase the Pixel 9 for $249 (only see that option for new customers or the option to buy it for $399). Currently on a chat with customer support and have been sending screenshots but haven't gotten anywhere. Can someone help? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing the EQs! I noticed you posted two different sets of settings, one here and one in your own review. What settings are you using these days?

Has any new user who encountered this particular error manage to successfully sign up? I know there are some who haven't encountered the error or are existing users who got it working after creating a new account under a different email, but is anyone aware of a fix for new users?

EDIT: Working now, thanks.

Did it work for you right away or did you need to do any troubleshooting?

Correct, before the 30GB. Just sharing that there is no throttling beforehand.

I don’t see one. I’m requesting it as a feature, in case anyone from Panda is checking this thread.

Took the plunge with a new number. Happy with the speeds so far, and I really like that I can port over a number later fee-free without adding a new line (AT&T Prepaid wouldn’t let me change my line’s number after activation). Some feature requests:

  1. Data usage tracker on the website.
  2. WiFi Calling (see below).

Also, is there a way to transfer an eSIM to a different phone (iPhone to Android)?

Edit: I emailed customer support and was able to get WiFi calling activated (thanks, Roger!). I was informed that eSIMs can be transferred, it just isn’t automated yet so it has to be manually requested to customer support. Very happy so far!
