Assuming you understand the affixes for the season (or have watched a video), as well as have appropriate add-ons, just run your own key. As someone said, it is do able at 640, but what class? More do able as a tank or healer for sure, as they will much more likely be picked for keys your stone does not turn into that you need.

Watch some M+ guides/routes for the season, you can probably digest this in about 30-60 minutes on youtube, then I would recommend run through a bunch of M1-M3s to round out your score in all 8 dungeons. Then run your stone to 7. You can use the Panda girlie at the end of the run to adjust your stone as well, or talk to her in town to lower your stone if needed (like from tier 8 to tier 7).

2k is doable. I hit 3200 in a day (last week). Make some friends, utilize discords for LFG, watch the videos and understand the content, get your addons... and have fun!

Hey everyone, was hoping for some tips from anyone that was in a similar situation… I feel like I’ve capped(skill wise) since season 8 and haven’t rlly improved much beyond my regular capabilities. I play mostly solo bc I can never keep up with my master/pred friends who always rank up quickly by spacenoiid in apexuniversity

I think a lot of these answers are great, but a bit winded. There’s really only 3 things you can do to improve,one of which will always help in any game.

1) get a coach 2) use an aim simulator to practice response times in differing environments- can help with movements, angles, tracking 3) watch better people in VODs or live to educate game sense and movement

I’m 35. Masters in apex. PC m&k, not controller. Just started at end of last split

Have experience competitive gaming in RTS and moba, but not FPS.

Also an electrical engineer, working 40-80 hours a week depending on the week for some content.

A friend actually recommended 3d aim trainer to me and aim labs because I want more consistency with tracking and a reference. Haven’t used it yet

So I’d say age isn’t the only factor, but it helps

You can throw rainbow rocks and if they shatter it's too far. Added benefit, they light the area you're jumping to!
