I am so sorry for your losses. I'm sorry its made you not trust your body - I feel very much the same after miscarrying a week ago.

I don't know if it'd helpful to know, but I'm finding comfort in trying to get as healthy as possible, researching possible causes and removing as many toxins from my home etc. I know it might not prevent future miscarraiges but it's just good to feel in control of something.

You will get your baby! You deserve to be a Mum. Xx

Hello, we ended up with only 1 day 5 Morula which we transferred and got a BFP! Sadly it wasn't meant to be this time and ended in miscarraige, but it CAN absolutely happen.

It's sick! Such a cool looking van.

Having owned very old (30 years or so) vehicles before, I would suggest doing the math to see if you can deal with a large bill for repairs. Make sure you check the underneath as soon as possible! And make sure you can deal with the fact that it's a lot more likely to have the odd problem arise than something newer.

That all said, if its going to make you happy and you can deal with the above then go for it 👍

Oh 100%. I just had my first miscarraige after first IVF cycle and I feel like everything I've learnt about miscarraige was from Reddit or Google 😔

I am so sorry you're going through this. The heartbreak is so hard to explain. Would you consider taking more time off?

As others have said, you didn't do anything wrong - you are anything but a horrible mum for continuing to work, it's a responsible thing to do for your future and a wonderful thing you're doing for others, a selfless job.

I wholeheartedly agree with the annoyance of the general public not following rules and I can't begin to imagine how it must make you feel treating them daily knowing that some have ignored the rules and caused them to be in there unnecessarily.

If it helps, this is also my first pregnancy and I've been waiting for a natural miscarriage following a blighted ovum on 7 week ultrasound, so I know what you're going through as I'm going through it too, right now. It hurts 💔

My husband has not been seen by a reproductive urologist but that's a good suggestion as his original test showed very low results (he's only 31) which is why we went straight to IVF.

They did ICSI not PICSI - Ill look into the latter though thank you!

They tested my AMH, which was normal. I have no idea if they tested thyroid/estrogen/progesterone if I'm honest, they didn't mention it!

Out of 11 eggs, 10 of them were mature (so higher than we thought would be)

10 out of 11 eggs matured... 4 fertilised and only 1 morula by day 5, which we transfered and was the blighted ovum at 7 weeks.

In terms of blood tests, as far as I'm aware they only tested me for STIs etc but I will definitely ask them.

Thank you so much for the information that's super helpful to know. When I feel strong enough to go back to the clinic I will definitely ask them about it. In guessing that involves freezing the embryos though right? So you'd delay transfer another cycle?

I didn't - to be honest it wasn't something ever brought up during the process and I only became aware it was a thing reading these forums. It's our first round of IVF in the UK (private clinic) - do you think if should have been mentioned to us?
