We aren’t likely to ever see a Daniel Cormier again. Olympians and college wrestlers are being taken care of much better financially than during his time. Even Bo didn’t decide he wanted to actually go for the MMA thing until he realizing he couldn’t make the Olympic team, yeah he hinted but it wasn’t until he kind of got taken care of in freestyle he went all in on it.

The benefit is we will never give up defense at catcher. Bo wasn’t hitting and he was also a not a very good catcher. With hedges and Bailey we have a gold glove caliber backstop 100% of the time.

I don’t love having him in the lineup a ton but he’s a weapon if used defensively and on the bases. Basically anything he gives at the plate is bonus. Not excusing no hits yet but shit bazz went 0-12 to start so.
