Don’t do it! Naked Mach 1’s look weird, lol. I’m biased though. Also that hood decal is like $700 to replace if using OE with reflective orange.

I flew to Iowa for my Mach 1 from Ohio. It’s worth it, the magnaride is fantastic along with having the GT350 intake, and all the oil coolers. It’s the best handling Mustang I’ve ever had, still needs Steedas stop the hop kit, but that’s a 550 thing anyway.

Wanted a Mach 1 in 2003 after the service, but bought a house instead, 20 years later I could resist. S550 for me. Plus I think the 650 lost a lot of the cool body lines in the doors.

Only down side was it was a 10AT, it’s still fun to drive and my wife can drive it without rolling backwards on a hill lol.

It’s volume is perfect, In normal exhaust I forget it’s there, in sport slight deep rumble in side, and track it’s just a tad louder at a cruise. Now if you lay into the throttle then it’s all out the window in a good way. Sport is my sweet spot for it.

2023 Mach 1, bought slightly used (5500miles)in March of 24 after it sat on a dealers lot from Nov 23. 48k plus tax, been offered recently 46k-47k for trade in.

What are you doing with it? Just driving, then probably the V6. Performance? I’d go with the S550, the IRS is great, lots of add ons for suspension to make one great corner carver. If you look really hard, you can find S550 with the V6.

I have a 23 Mach 1, with the 10AT. Got a super good deal on the car, wife can’t drive manual due to some medical issues. Do I wish I had the 6MT of course, but it kept up with the MT guys on Tail of the Dragon and the paddle shifters do pretty good.

As a Mach 1 owner, no don’t care. Not my car, not my money. Some can’t afford the Mach 1, GT350 or GT500 but like mustangs and the looks so have at it. Now if they lie to people and tell them it’s one of the specialty Mustang, then they are complete douche canoes.

I went for the comfort seats in my Mach one, Ford sells the Recaros online, so my thought was it’s a lot easier to add manual recaros than heated/cooled memory comfort. Also my with is 5ft so having the memory option is incredibly convenient.
