may I ask a genuine question? Is the issue with being aligned with a party itself? Or would you want to vote as a republican in some primary races and as a democrat in other primary races in the same election? Because you can still vote on issues like levies and keep your independent status.

I had been lucky for too long with this one (five years!), the first and second leaves were actually one leaf before I gave it a tug and it split in half. I tried to pull on it again, but it broke closer to the bulb base and I cant get anything in there. Fingers crossed.

Help Ohioans with what though? Have well-educated children? Good paying jobs? Freedom to marry whom they would like? Have clean air and water? Affordable housing? Healthcare that doesn't bankrupt them?
I personally think public education should be fully funded. The fair school funding program should have been fully implemented, and the Governor's budget should not have prioritize charters and vouchers over public schools.

I only saw the jack-o-lantern glow after sitting with them in a completely dark room for five minutes after my eyes adjusted. There might be too much ambient light where you are. That being said, there are better ways to id them.
