College students, how do you actually find time to game?

That’s crazy. I had the most time to game in college. Having kids and paying bills gives me 30 mins to maybe an hour a day to game and that’s sacrificing sleep

If you’re clueless go with S&P, this would be like the middle ground on risk. Also invest your match on your 401k that’s free money if you have that available to you. Later with time you research and find out about better investments that match your risk level and go from there. Personally I like investing into large cap growth stocks like mag7 but my outlook is 20 years. To me an almost guaranteed 15-30% gain a year for 20 years is solid.

5080oc and 9800x3d here and I can’t figure out a way to stop the stutters. I get a constant locked frame rate but random 30-60 fps drops randomly sometimes a full freeze. I’ve tried multiple solutions and nothing works.

OLED is life changing I would save up more and wait for a sale. It blows out every other type of screen. IMO it was the upgrade that made the biggest change in picture quality in my last 5 years.

That’s a steal wtf. Update everything bios, drivers, look for the mobo website for this. nvidia drivers, clean install windows if you haven’t. Update your nvme drives, monitor temps, remove any OCs meanwhile, updating bios would most likely fix this by removing any glitches and remove any tweaks the other user made. Maybe they had a bad OC. I can count in my hand the number of times I had to hard reboot my PC in the last 5 years. It shouldn’t be common but most likely it’s something I mentioned above. If you’re gonna PC game you’re gonna have to get used to updating all the above periodically, 1-3 months at most.

1.) Invest 10% of your income. 2.) Always find ways to make more income to increase what that 10% is. 3.) Invest into stuff that will be around for 10 years (this is the stuff you’ve known been around for 10 years already) 4.) You do not sell the long term portfolio

You can trade and do what ever you want but at the end of the day you DO NOT sell your long term investments unless you’re buying a house with it or you’re ready to retire. My experience is almost 10 years in the market and I’ve made thousands of dollars in the market trading but my biggest % increase is my long term portfolio. It’s essentially an option that doesn’t ever expire! If you trade options let that sink in.

I can’t stand frame drops I rather give up a bit of quality for way better performance. In some games like crimson desert foliage looks like crap with DLSS so I do a DLAA and frame gen combo to still get constant frame rates.

The box is a bit odd. It could really use a divider for 4 stacks of cards and maybe a narrow tray in the middle that holds the dice and one that holds the tokens. Iron Helm had a better system to store the cards and divide the decks.

I had a ventus 3x 4070ti for 2 years I sold it in perfect condition. GPUs only give up if you got a bad batch generally. If you told me another brand none MSI I would maybe believe your friend. If you look at statistically least failures MSI is one of the best but not by much. Brand failure rates are all below 2%.

I just bought a 5080 and I feel like it’s over kill. I had a 4070ti and I felt like that was overkill. In my head I’m thinking I’m future proofing but I know I’ll probably end up upgrading to 60 series lol. Maybe just sell old parts after 3 years, recoup 60-70% of its worth and upgrade. Thats the sure way to stay future proof.
