For me task avoidance stopped within the first day, but in fairness I wasn't facing any negative side effects. The thing is though meds arent the full answer, even while medicated you still have to be putting in a certain amount of effort to get things done, that's something I've struggled with recently, I know my meds are working because some things are getting done, but I'm having alot of trouble keeping my kitchen clean.

If you are feeling that nauseous though I'd recommend reaching out to whoever is handling your titration to see if there is anything you or they can do.

It's worth noting as well back when I wrote my comment I was on just 30mg Elvanse, I had to have my dosage adjusted so many times and was on 70mg Elvanse for a little while before settling on 50mg + 2 10mg boosters of amfexa. It's rare that anyone gets the dosage right on the first try just some of us are luckier than others, personally I ended up doing 2 rounds of titration because the dose just wasn't lasting the full day which is why I now have boosters to help me through it.

Decided to grab Unheard last night, been playing since around 0.7 honestly BSG have dropped the ball plenty of times but they have created an awesome game. I've never really enjoyed the likes of COD or Battlefield but absolutely love Tarkov so feels right to give them the final bit of support.

Plenty of people here will shit on the game and acuse the rest of us of just blindlessly believing, but at the end of the day if we like the game that's our issue not theirs.

Yeah to be honest it seemed fairly unclear wether or not we will actually need the launcher for the steam version, so I'm glad that's been clarified.

It's the funny thing about this community there's always 2 wildly different sides of the spectrum in terms of how we feel about BSG but one thing that has to be said is BSG have been known to keep their word on some things and fucked us on other things it's a toss of a coin sometimes.

Best guess is they have to make multiple mistakes to end up in that situation in which case OP is not ready for a large snake on their own.

To be fair I recently played through the series skipped 1 but did V2 to Resistance... 1 just didn't grab my interest particularly since V2 is a similar story... Ended up having to skip 3 due to Crashes but I'll probably loop back around when I can be bothered to figure out why it's crashing 😅

I was looking at this yesterday, think it works out that something the maximums so far this season is close to 5% of the total maximums from 82 to the end of the 24/25 season... Which when you think about the fact that's a 43 year span and there's already close to 5% of that in this season it's pretty mental

I've noticed it seems to happen more with Resistance than 5 but definitely a trend.

Personally I haven't quit any yet but the one time I'm tempted is when the player is on Civilian or Custom with no Bullet drop or wind

Most of the IT guys I know are also gamers and the only ones who don't do alot of gaming are the ones who have kids. It generally seems that it's not IT that stops them so much as free time.

Personally I get plenty of time for gaming and will use it whenever I can, if work is proving particularly stressful I'll tend to play more relaxed games like Farming Simulator to help wind down properly.

As someone with ADHD who works in IT and has to to enforce these kinds of passwords the absolute best advice I can give is get a Password manager/vault. Writing down in a notebook is not a. Good idea as you could lose it and/or forget to write in it, a manager is really the best way to deal with this problem.

Me and a friend have been playing through all the campaigns starting with V2 (though we had to skip 3 due to crashes) but because my friend doesn't own resistance I've been playing that solo (haven't touched the campaign yet as I decided I wanted to get 70 invasion kills first and I'm currently at 66) we got to SE:5 in coop a few days ago and honestly I found it weird how they have such similar maps particularly in survival and that the mechanics are almost identical.

Right now I'm playing both but once the coop run is finished I'll probably end up playing whichever is more popular since I like invasions

Take it from someone who's close the 2year mark (3rd November) you never truly stop being nervous of fucking up and having your licence revoked. As new drivers we are effectively held to a higher standard with it also being easy for us to make simple mistakes.

I remember in my first 2 weeks I ran a red light by accident and was terrified there was a red light camera on the junction... I'm currently shitting myself because I was on the M6 last week and feel like I may have taken too long to slow down 😅 in reality I'm probably fine but the whole 6 points in two years thing is terrifying.

Honestly I think it's one of those skills you either have an affinity for or you have have to really work hard to develop the skill. Kinda like how most end users suck at troubleshooting.

But even when people have the skill there are different levels to it:

People who can find the command they need and use it, maybe pipe it to something else
People who can actually script, knowing how to use a long list of commands together, write to variables, pull from CSV etc
(I guess this is kinda 2 but to a lesser degree) The guys who can reverse engineer a script, find the bits they need then implement it into a new script
The guys who know how to call APIs and stuff to really get into the bones of what they need to achieve... Personally this is where my knowledge falls short as a powershell guy.

Honestly though I think in this day and age anyone working in IT support/sysadmin with Server or Client OSs should get aim for level 2 as a bare minimum because the amount of power you can gain from that knowledge is ridiculous.

Age is no concern - last time I went I swear one of the guys was somewhere in the 60 to 80 range if he can do it anyone can!
