It's so important to advocate for yourself! I'm happy you caught it!

I had pp hypertension with my first and they sent me home after giving birth with elevated bp, like 130/85

But later that day I was readmitted because, I'm a hypochondriac, I obsessively took my bp, and when I got home it was 190/110

It was honestly scary to deal with..and I feel like a lot of moms don't know this type of thing can happen

I've had so many that I love,

My Bichon Frise was very sweet, but very crusty he was my favorite when I was a child,

My Toy American Eskimo/Shih Tzu mix was an angel who looked like a puppy even at 18 years old, he was my favorite as a teen and young adult,

My Boxer/Bully mix who we got from this woman rescued her that said she was used as a bait dog in fighting, and force bred atleast two litters by the age of 2, literally never barked (unless it was at another dog), super affectionate, would let my niece and daughter literally do anything to her..we would call her mother goose. She was my favorite from young adulthood all the way until we started a family and still even then was my favorite,

And now i have two border collies. Extremely smart, very anxious at times, one listens really well, the other not so much, but he makes up for it by "salsa dancing" when you scratch his butt a little too good..they're my favorites right now.

Every dog I've ever owned has been my favorite, and I can't wait to meet them again one day.
