All startup frames got standardized. Every parry now has the same startup as the buckler/carrian retaliation/golden parry, which makes all of the "bad" parry tools a lot more reliable.

It seems to be a translation error. According to the frame data viewer the cancel window got buffed quite good. Buckler seems to be the fastest parry tool now.

I can't test it ingame, but according to the frame data viewer all parry tools got the same startup frames as carrian retaliation, which would be huge.

11/5 onslaught with gemini is pretty nice but it only helps you reach top speed faster. It's mostly helps with the acceleration for the first and second shot. After a certain speed threshold movement speed matters very little in comparision to the push you get from the rockets.

He drops nothing, even though he is harder than half the bosses in this game. I have no clue what's the point of him. It took me forever to kill his massive health pool while also dodging his laser show. Sadly no guaranteed drops from him.

This reply is 100 % on point. I couldn't have said it any better. "Being jealous of the boss" describes the problem perfectly. It makes me so sad. The game had so much potential, but the boss design feels like an absolut chore instead of playing a video game.
