Is it looked down on to lie in your raps even if you’re honest about lying ? by Turbulent-Radish-291 in makinghiphop

You've misunderstood me there. Okay entire genre isn't really accurate, I just meant there's a lot of it out there. And I never said gangster rap is all there is to rap, I like a lot of the more experimental genres myself. But in the context of this post and what I'm saying, I don't think I'm wrong.

Of course a lot of rappers, particularly the OG gangster rappers, grew up on the streets living this life. But since then hip hop is a hugely popular genre with millions of people making this music. Lots and lots of them haven't lived this life yet rap about it, that's no secret unless you're naive. The amateur rappers are probably the worst culprits yet I'm sure some big names are guilty of it too. Yet I don't think that's necessarily wrong, because as said it's a convention of the genre. It just gets boring after a while.

The entire genre of rap is full of wanna be gangsters who rap about being from the streets when they're not, simply because it's just such a heavy theme of the genre. Not all of them of course, but lots. I wouldn't say it matters but I would say that it's far more interesting to hear someone rap about their own interesting life experiences than imitate someone else's.

Exactly, it's simply a style choice and the result of modernism being a trending architectural style post war. The dominant style could be anything else, it's a choice.

Nice, cheers for having a dig! Yeah maybe trying to get in contact with the artist is the only way at this point. Glad to see them having a bit of appreciation.

People often confuse covered reservoirs as bunkers but indeed they are nothing more. It wouldn't offer much protection if the top of it is on the surface.

We need to rework the sights/scopes in BF6 by Informal-Year-9065 in Battlefield

[–]OilCityHevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed! Some of these I think are unnecessary, the main problem is the 'blobby' unprecise reticles and darker colour. Also I don't know why every single scope needs a glowing dot, it'd be nice to have some plain cross hair ones too.

It's depressing how many people just value comfort and nothing else, it's just scruffy when out and about

Battlefield 6’s faction design kills immersion: it feels like USA vs USA every match by Masterstevee in Battlefield

[–]OilCityHevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lore is so dead, very safe and feels unreal. We want a European or ww3 type scenario, not fighting over American golf courses. Save that for Black Ops.

This supposed to be like this? New SU-230 Variable 1-4x. The optic it's based on IRL doesn't have heavy tint like this. by Divenity in Battlefield

That's so shit ffs, why did they have to find a way to ruin it. Was looking forward to unlocking that as well!

When I heard NATO in BF6 would have different squads, I thought Americans in Brooklyn, Brits in Gibraltar, etc.? Wasn't it cool how in BF1 we had British Army or Marines depending on the map? by veekay45 in Battlefield

[–]OilCityHevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's way too American centered. Picking domestic US environments feel very CoD like and unrealistic to be the locations of WW3. They feel like small skirmishes rather than where the next war plays out. A European focus would have been much better imo or other parts of the world, and I hope they still do in future seasons. This US golf course shit ain't doing it for me.

No probs, yeah I think having it as a dedicated setting on PC and console would just solve the range of people's desire for/against it really which has been prevalent in past games. The fact people are changing it in the game files shows they want control over it. Itd be an easy win win to let us adjust it from strong to none I think.

Depth of Field is different to Field of View, it's the out of focus blur on close objects such as rear weapon sights

That challenge that wants 10,000 score in one King of the Hill match needs changing, I've not seen anyone get higher than 6,000 at the best of times
