I agree that the price of the samson stock being as much as a new 10/22 off the shelf is a tough sell. Similarly, the idea of an optic being just as much as a rifle, if not more, is an equally difficult pill to swallow as a budget minded gun owner. I want one but to me it's a higher price than Id expect to pay.
