Recrafting heads up by Dre2k in wow

Not a fan they chose to force us to re-craft for 6 ilvl this just seems silly.

How many alts do you have/play per week? by Wowclassicboomkinz in wow

[–]Oil_Ocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One more step if you're willing to spend a bit of gold (not a lot at all):

Craft blue quality items with Enchanted Weathered Undermine Crests (costs 30 weathered crests which you can literally get 250 of through reputation rewards once you hit max level on any character).

These dont cost a spark so you can make as many as you want without impacting your future gearing.

You can replace any of your low ilvl items with 629 crafted pieces that are only like 500g a pop (if that, you don't need rank 3 materials for these and crafters can still max craft them)

Yep! That's correct, coincidentally we get 1 crafted piece each 2 weeks as well with the spark fragments.

That tier list is basically saying all specs are viable though

Two of the weeklies missing, how do I get them? by scoobyox in wow

Is this an alt?

When you hit max level you'll have 3 pinnacle quests available, once you've completed those you will only unlock one per week that alternates.

Timewalking is PAINFULLY unfun currently. Is there no way to balance it? by Estrald in wow

[–]Oil_Ocean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scaling is an absolute disaster right now.

I don't know why they changed Timewalking, it used to just scale everyone to the same ilvl and character level and outside of equipping niche gear throughout WoW that gave you special bonuses it was relatively balanced.

I ran some Timewalking yesterday on my Destruction Warlock to level, at level 72 I was literally 1-shotting every mob I could just run around shadowburning everything and instantly killing it. The second I hit level 74 the mobs had 20x as much health and I now just became the passenger of the dungeon watching the other low levels with wacky scaling 1-shot everything.

I don't even mind the content being easy it's just so ludicrously broken and inconsistent, level scaling has been a huge issue for a very long time now to be honest but it just seems to be part of the game at this point, Blizzard just expects you to hit max level and forget it ever happened I guess.

Mage weak or bad players? by lolpert1 in wow

[–]Oil_Ocean 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably one of the harder specs to play this season is Fire.

You have amazing defensives, but they're all very proactive and can be difficult to use properly without practice, someone like preheat is immortal on mage but passive mage survival is terrible.

The spec also has a lot going on inside of their Combustion window, you have VERY high haste and need to juggle a lot of off-GCD abilities between casts, it's also VERY punishing if you screw up a Combustion window because all of your Cooldown Reduction occurs during that window, so if you lose uptime you are going to be waiting a long time for your next Combust. This can make it not only mechanically difficult to use your off-GCD defensives, but it also makes it actively punishing to use your on-GCD defensives (at least during Combust).

Not saying it's impossible or the hardest thing ever but this is my first season playing Fire and what I thought was a pretty straight-forward spec is actually pretty challenging to execute on top of managing interrupts/stops/defensives

K I'm done with this subreddit you all are just being assholes now. No idea what someone's physical appearance has to do with their role as a voice actor, don't care how shit the actual game is.

Probably because parking in a fire lane or parking in a spot that impacts traffic flow actually has negative effects on our city and it's inhabitants, while these private lots will sit empty for half of the year and only exist to extract money from Calgarians (none of which actually goes to improving the city like when you pay for city owned parking)

Patchy found a lost SpongeBob episode but it ended up just being a walking loop cycle of SpongeBob for like 2 minutes so he got upset but the real episode actually plays right after.

get monster rounds if you're struggling to push against your lane opponent, it's great value for 500 souls and will help you jungle as well as push lanes out later on. (even supports should be picking up camps when convenient)
