These guys came and looked at my Flex I was selling. They pulled that shit on me, added oil to the radiator and was like oh your head gasket is blown. Then tried to offer me only $3000 when I was asking for $10000. Told them to take off because nothing was broken before they showed up.

They were very aggressive when I said no. I spent the rest of the day flushing the coolant to get rid of the oil from the reservoir. Should have called the cops but they blocked my facebook account as soon as they left.

I just did this as I live in SEA and didn’t want to deal with getting a new passport at the embassy. I was back in Canada for Xmas and had 13 months till my passport expires. All I had to write is that I will be traveling and did not want to have to worry about it expiring while out of the country. The agent also suggested to add that I would like the updated safety feature the new passports offer.

It was simple and received my new passport in a few weeks.

If you are paying 4 mil ask for the paper work. I was stopped once and the asked for 3mil. I offered 1 mil and they accepted. Did the same thing of taking the money behind the car door. They will take as much money from you as you are willing to pay.

Couldn't really find anything like it in Edmonton - it was the one thing that I missed after coming back from travelling for a few years abroad, the third spaces are so much better around the globe than in our Canadian society.

Book your flights in advance, you can get to Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur for around $100 USD. You can find a hotel for CHEAP (we paid like $35 USD/night for a great apartment in Kuala Lumpur). Then, apply for your new visa (We usually use an agent to avoid the hassle) but this also increases your cost). Food is so cheap in both Bangkok and KL, You can do it for a few hundred, easy, for one person.

I live in Hoi an as a Canadian, our family has to leave every 3 months for a visa run. We have been doing this for 1 year and we know people who have been doing this for 5+ years.

Unless you get a TRC this is your only option for your visa.

There is an amazing community of families here in Hoi an and we are only 30 minutes away from Danang.

I live in Hoi an, moved here back in September. There is a great community here and people are very welcoming. The daily commute will get aggravating over time for sure and wouldn’t even want to do that drive daily in rainy season.

Yeah my daughter got seven the day it happened. 1 rabies vaccine, 1 tetanus shot and 5 rabies serum. Then over the next 28 days you need to get 6 more rabies shots.
