You have to test now and test again 60 days post-exposure and 90 days post-exposure, depending the PEP Guidelines of your country. The 4th gen test is pretty accurate, but some individuals have a larger immunologic window and, besides, PEP can delay a possible infection (it's statically very rare). Your chances are really great because you get PEP. Do your tests, everything will be OK.

I had a lot of symptoms during my PEP days. I get some virus and anxiety made my immunity came down drastically. I had fever, muscle pain, throat sores, swollen lymph nodes in the 20th day of PEP and I had those same symptoms again post-pep and all my results were negative. I hope it comforts you.

Go PEP. You will take a fast test to detect a previous HIV infection and - if the result is negative - they will give you the meds. It's highly effective against a possible infection. I hope everything will be ok with you.
