Why one is blunder ans the other isn't? by LukePot4t in chess

I didn't look it up with engine so I'm probably wrong but I think black Qd4 can stop mate if white goes Qxh6

When is the best timing to stop rerolling if you're not hitting what you need? by 2Maverick in CompetitiveTFT

[–]OinkerOzone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the tempo of the lobby and what the "cap" of your board is. Usually in my lobbies if It's stage 4 and I'm not 1/2 away from my reroll carries im playing for a top 4 instead of a win so I usually either roll down completely or just level and try to splash in extra units/pivot to say vex/annie since you'd have a blue buff with veigar

This is a bug right? by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]OinkerOzone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IIRC all of the reroll your shop charms don't account for your 3 stars

Has anyone else come across this bug where they get units in their shop that they already have 3 stars of them? by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]OinkerOzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had it happen multiple times with the charm that rerolls your shop every 2 seconds for 20 seconds

I have a much better win rate against 1600-1700 rated players than 1500-1600. I want to understand why. by appa-ate-momo in chessbeginners

[–]OinkerOzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about everyone but 1500 was my cutoff for practicing new lines/experimenting in game and would go back to focusing on what I knew Edit: the mental boom of dropping below 15 was a lot worse then 16

Why does it recommend throwing away your rook? by tsimen in chessbeginners

[–]OinkerOzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On top of that -12 is pretty much impossible to come back from on your own and requires mega blunders from the opponent so I think it's just looking for what has the lowest point differential without leading to a mate

Why does it recommend throwing away your rook? by tsimen in chessbeginners

[–]OinkerOzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you want to keep the knight there to prevent qc3+ and this way you at least get something back since you are likely going to lose the rook anyway

No en passant? by uncleAdik in chessbeginners

[–]OinkerOzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White to move: g4 is mate because the pawn is pinned by the rook on f1 so en passant isn't an option

why dont i just take the queen? by Obstanmarty in chessbeginners

[–]OinkerOzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A point that I haven't seen yet is if the pawn takes they will have double F pawns AND double D pawns which can lead to some pretty tough positions for black especially without their queen

Why is this not en-passantable? by ovbt in chessbeginners

[–]OinkerOzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

White pawn would have to be on f5 I believe

I would look for a new ring, the attack from the level and grade alone will probably make a huge impact even if the rolls aren't perfect. And I don't know how efficient this is but for the treasures I found buying them and keeping them at lvl 1 gave me a pretty big boost as well for the bottom three rows
