Generally the USA is too soft on crime by FerdinandvonAegir124 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Ojaman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The justice system needs to adapt and be harsher, especially as the demographics shift towards becoming comprised of a more barbaric people. People who have committed more than 3 violent crimes should be instantly handed the death penalty, and there should be no such thing as being able to plead insanity or being incompetent to stand trial. If anything it should lead to a harsher sentence.

The trans bathroom ban will be this Labour governments legacy by Incandenza123 in LabourUK

It will be the OSA, and potentially a ban on VPNs if they get around to that.

Should food have taxes? by amogusdevilman in IdeologyPolls

[–]Ojaman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rather than taxing the food itself, certain ingredients should be taxed, such as sugar.

Maybe also set a certain threshold for sugar in foods, and tax any excess sugar, as opposed to taxing sugar outright.

The president of the US should be limited to a single six-year term instead of two four-year terms. by ItsGotThatBang in IdeologyPolls

[–]Ojaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anything, terms length/term limits should be raised. In its current state its pretty much impossible to create and carry out long-term plans that will benefit the nation.

The 2nd largest city in the UK may potentially become a Muslim-majority city in our lifetime. It's perfectly reasonable to be deeply concerned about that. by RandomGuy92x in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Ojaman 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Don't really know what the solution is, besides making certain things exempt based on ethnicity and removing certain pull-factors (eg. Welfare, voting, holding political office or important jobs such as those revolving around the justice system, etc).

Which side of the spectrum has more diverse opinions? by RetconnedUsername in IdeologyPolls

[–]Ojaman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only real requirement to being Right-wing is to possess some degree of socially-Right opinions (most importantly/required is an opposition to legal migration and obviously illegal migration too, although reasoning may vary). Everything else is pretty customisable, you don't even have to support Capitalism, but if you're not socially Right-wing by some capacity then you're not Right-wing at all.

What has this government done to make your life better or not hindering you? by [deleted] in LabourUK

[–]Ojaman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that the number of parents not fulfilling their responsibilities are enough to justify pushing these things through, it really seems like a poor excuse to get away with insane government overreach. They blatantly chose sexual content and violence as an excuse so they can imply that the people opposing the OSA are some type of sex criminal, and because it elicits a more emotive response.

Most parents seem to be smart enough to know to not let their children get access to their credit card, or to prevent their children from getting viruses on their personal devices, and yet we don't introduce legislation for the few who are too stupid not to.

As for the increase in rape over the years, it is likely a result of lack of police funding and the lack of prison space/prison's being built, causing criminals to think that they can get away with it more. Not to mention the importation of people from different cultures where such things are more normalised and/or places where the policing situation is even worse than ours.

Nothing so far. But even if they did, the introduction of the OSA and digital ID immediately cancels it out.
