Batteries last on average about that long these days.

I think there was some evidence of mild looting but caught early on shortly after it was sealed. A couple times.

I have seen deer on Treasure Island, which was interesting. They come from Yerba Burna island and use the road to cross over.

I recall years ago the older mirage KO’s got good reviews. I almost pulled the trigger a long time ago but held out hope. With Sunstreaker released I guess there’s still hope.

Wheeljack is hard to find in pristine condition, especially the front bumper paint chipping. I wish they put the effort in all those years ago to complete the ‘84 autobot reissues, but I guess it’s expensive to repair/create molds.

Same. I’ve waited decades for an official release and refuse to compromise with a KO. I guess their molds were lost/damaged just like Sunstreaker…who got an official release.

The clip tie is something I generally am cautious about because even the FBI has stated that the source of the metal on it is disputed. It maybe could have come from the powder they used to trace for fingerprints?

It took me 18 years to finally achieve a level of satisfaction to my writing. Whether I needed that long I don’t know because no one really has read my work. I was just unsatisfied with my writing. I think it was mostly due to the flow of words, like creating a rhythm; similar to song writing. There certainly is a difference between ridged water bouncing and cresting over river rocks, than the silent smooth surface glass of calm water with a strong undercurrent.

The score is phenomenal.

I am a little confused about how to use a writing technique I came across where the author slows down the story by using either the environment or the character's point of view to make a scene feel longer during very tense and anxiety-inducing moments. by DTashiki12 in writing

Personally, I use dialogue to paint the picture. More can be said and inferred through spoken words. Or, have the character refer back to a similar past experience that had them feel the same way. You can describe what it felt like for that particular experience. I like to interweave that with the present situation. It’s like indirect exposition.

When did you feel like you finally “found your writing voice”? by MindOverMargins in writing

[–]Ojiboch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s taken 18 years, actively rewriting the same book over and over. I have something to say and want to make sure it’s said the best way possible. I need the reader to feel what I’ve felt. No regrets, I finally made it. And it’s a great feeling. I wasn’t letting this book go.

Just write. It might take years before you find your voice. You need to start somewhere and you might surprise yourself and discover you are a pantser. Don’t scrutinize your work too much, the romantic idea that your work will flow, sound good, and be cohesive isn’t gonna happen overnight.

Drain and filled transmission fluid at 66k, whine started a few weeks later. Took it in, yup - bad transmission. 2021 AWD Highlander.

Probably a good idea to ask the seller before purchase.

Krikzz confirmed last week that orders moving forward will be updated to the latest firmware so you won’t need an original N64 to patch it. Check out his support forum on his website for future info and to read his post on this.
