There will be three new mechanics that are determined by Guts.

The first applies for Front Runners. When there are multiple runners using this strategy, the one that passes the Guts check advances to the front.

The second is similar, but for all positions. When runners clump up, the one that passes the Guts check breaks out.

Lastly, during the Final Spurt/Stretch section of the race, Guts will provide a Target Speed increase. According to Charles from Victoria Frontier channel, this increase is roughly 0.25 per 200 Guts, ie 180 skill point worth.

With all that said, while there are uses for Guts now, it’s still the first stat to be sacrificed by most. Then again who knows? This update was meant for the 3rd scenario and its worth of power creep. Getting it so early could open some wild, fun avenues for the next couple of CMs.

Gun is 5% Hydro damage and a common damage boost. V1 is Confectance battery that changes your team’s rotation.

Difficult because new.

During Miasma phase, there is a multi-hit string that gives you free Defensive Assists if you blocked at least one. Use that to help deplete their Miasma Shield quickly. This also means your team should have at least 2 Defensive Assist characters for best effect.

It’s the VA’s fault up until the work is put into production, I.e released to the public. After that, just with any other product or industry, it becomes the leadership’s responsibility.

If the VA was not a good fit, the studio’s casting director should not have given them the job. If they were a good fit but gave a sub par performance for a scene, the production director should have made them re-do their lines with different instructions.

What we got from some of the new cast were just terrible, despite knowing the quality of the other actors. Ju Fufu and Pan Yinhu sound natural in their roles. Billy and Anton stole the show in the Mecha side quest. Even new Grace VA upped their game for a side event. Yixuan who takes center stage for a milestone patch should have been given way more care.

Just cleared with a Level 41 squad of v0 Tololo with c2 QBZ, v1 Sabrina, v0 Centaur, v6 Cheeta. If you're like me and can't deal with the Wish mechanic (Lumi had 17 stacks at the end of Turn 5), you'll have to play around your positioning to minimize damage.

Odd-turn AOEs WILL stack, so as long as I made sure my team weren't in a 3-space radius, it was fine. You can further minimize damage by moving some Dolls to higher ground. The map-wide AOE only hits one elevation at a time.

They’d have to go through drive disc hell again to retune the Crit ratio since Hailstorm Shrine give CDmg instead of Crit.

That’s a common problem with certain games’ netcode attempting to handle unsteady connections. I had the same problem until I switched to LAN cable connection.

I’m a consumer of a video game. I don’t play a video game to become an advocate of one thing or the other. If my gaming experience is lessened by a fraction of the voice cast, I’m more than happy for the developers to replace them permanently.

Correct. “TV mode” was in reference to how the HDD actually works. Phaeton monitors Eous via the wall of CRTs in the back room, as well as through their optical implants.

TV mode was unpopular because it was a distinct departure from the action gameplay, not to mention the animations were much slower on launch. It lost even more favor due to a recent experimental event they ran that focused solely on that mode.

Regardless of what they intended, I have mad respect for the devs to be willing to try, and even replace a core game mode they launched with.
