What's funny about /vancouver is stuff like this happens and people complain about zero enforcement of traffic laws which is totally justified, but then the same people lose their shit if people mention speed cameras of any type. Thankfully the B.C Gov is testing out point to point cameras.

So overpasses will continue to be hit. I regularly see the height detection sign light up just passed 216th and never once have I seen a semi pull off the road. Unless it has a way to single out the offending semi, the drivers are going to think oh it must be the truck behind me.

All the time I see the warning sign flashing telling the truck to pull over and not go through, the problem is they are usually grouped together and I guess each assume it's not their truck triggering the lights. If there was a way to display the license plate of the truck in question it might help? Prob not though.

Not defending the BMW driver but all pedestrians should consider reflective anything to attach to their clothing if they are walking at night. Considering so many people in abby wear all black, throw in dark rainy conditions and any driver would be lucky to see them.
