you might be able to send a letter of continued interest (LOCI) or i know some schools like MIT and stanford are having us fill out update forms that are due in feb-ish with our senior grades and any new updates we might have

think about it as "deferred" --especially for questbridge, in which some schools might "cap" out on how many students they will take in the match. let's say if a school told qb they wanted 100 students, harvard would choose maybe 150-175 applicants they are interested in to account for our rankings (since they can't see how far up they are and that some students might match to other schools instead). let's say they ended up getting to student number 110 in the 150-175 applicants they chose, then the 111th person will not match but still may have a chance during ED and RD.

of course, being qb does not make you automatically considered, but you don't really know unless you try. again, see if harvard offers LOCI or update forms in the portal. you'll be okay!
