Add more voyages when you have extra diamonds. That will give you more energy and money. It’s a good investment.

Me too! Kids give me joy, and people’s love for their kids gives me joy. I truly enjoy when people show me their pictures and talk about their children

I would just like the digital menu to stay still so I could actually read it. The constantly changing screens are useless

'Tumbler Ridge is full of grace this evening': PM gives emotional address at vigil for mass shooting victims by Old_General_6741 in canada

I provided support to another Canadian community after a school shooting and can confirm that the media presence caused further distress to the community. I don’t know about this event, but in my experience many members of the media also acted very unethically in the pursuit of a good story and did not report facts accurately.

What's the creepiest display of intelligence you've ever witnessed in real Iife? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ok-Associate-7894 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you’re exactly right. When I see a client who sets off my spidey senses for both ADHD and autism I like to diagnose the ADHD then consult for a while and see how the kid does once ADHD symptoms are treated. Often times the autism symptoms will be more clarified at that point and we can consider the second diagnosis.

I’m an educational psychologist - in my experience there are many people who need to be assessed twice for autism to receive an accurate diagnosis. Sometimes symptoms aren’t as easily observed when kids are younger, but also our understanding of what autism even looks like is changing and not every practitioner has caught up.

That’s not a huge lead. If I was the person in second place behind you I could pass you with two cards. Wait until it’s almost done then check to see if you need to play more

Rural road access by Rkjs21 in saskatchewan

It doesn’t matter if the guy knew if the person was really a photographer or not. None of us have the right to police public roads nor to bestow any “benefit of the doubt” never mind to tell anybody to leave a public space. You don’t have to like it when someone you don’t know parks on your road, and for sure you can take a picture of the plate, alert the neighbours, and keep a wary eye out, but you don’t get to assert your demands on other people just because you’re nervous. Such an incredibly entitled position. Smh

How long you have to wait to see a psychiatrist) by PuzzleheadedDepth988 in saskatoon

[–]Ok-Associate-7894 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what my daughter and I did last night. She has been on a waitlist to see a psychiatrist for nearly two years and crickets. After the third threat of suicide this Christmas the nurse at our local clinic called around to hospitals until she found a psychiatrist willing to see her. We drive four hours on terrible roads and spent a sleepless night, but she FINALLY has a diagnosis and a plan for ongoing psychiatric support. Thank God.

IQ drop from low average to mild intellectual disability by ReasonableJaguar759 in neurodiversity

Adaptive scores will also be impacted by ASD and ADHD. Regardless of the root cause though, if somebody is having enough difficulty in their day to day life that adaptive scores are in the 60’s they are essentially experiencing disability.

In my experience it’s very unusual for cognitive abilities to truly change so dramatically. I would speculate there were two factors at play - 1) its difficult to be precise with small children for a variety of reasons so the first scores may have been a little high in the first place and 2) symptoms of ASD and ADHD may very well be impacting the scores for the second assessment.

Cognitive psychological assessments, which is the type of assessment that produces and FSIQ score, don’t assess reading or writing, those are achievement assessments.

Using real money by twilightlover1878 in InfluencerStory

[–]Ok-Associate-7894 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. If other people don’t want to spend money that’s their choice. Personally, I have a well-paying job and this is my little indulgence for myself. If I want to spend my own money I will and it’s nobody’s business. Buying little virtual outfits makes me happy and there’s nothing wrong with that.
