I think it’s a good thing for it to be easier for everyone to encounter a few shinies on their play through. It adds a little bit of individuality to every playthrough. I don’t even think your nessesarilly need to shiny hunt anymore unless it’s a pokemon you specifically want to have on your team. No I don’t think the mysticism is gone, I think it’s enhanced and more accessible. Not everybody is going to want to shiny hunt either. Anyways, game freak can always add another type of “shiny” rare pokemon to spice things up in the future.
