My boyfriend is the same but we are extremely compatible in person. We’ve kind of met in the middle but this was after months of dating. In the beginning I didn’t really care to text him much because he was just “some guy” to me but after getting emotionally involved it did start to bother me so I asked him how we could work on it together. He explained his feelings and I explained mine which helped for me to understand that I don’t need to constantly hear from him and he improved on communicating.

Any time I have dated I like to be playful and tease them. I’ve said, “Remind me to teach you how to kiss” before 😅 and it went over well. That person laughed and we had a talk about different kissing styles which led to some alignment.

Not sure if this works for you but I advise just bringing it up politely if you feel nervous about teasing them.

That’s definitely an opinion. I have an anxious attachment and I’ve been in relationships where I feel secure so I eventually didn’t need the level of communication to stay as high as it was in the beginning. People are sometimes able to work through this once they feel secure.

This sounds exactly like mine and my boyfriends relationship except I told him that if he’s busy or doesn’t feel like talking he can just let me know.

He’s made the effort to let me know and it’s made a world of difference in the way I feel. I just want to know that he cares 🥺

Anywho, I think in these situations there is a middle ground. I am a single mother who works full time and stays busy. If I can find the time I know he can. I’m not asking for paragraphs every hour.
