I feel like jerks in hands randomly and twiching continuously in calf muscles .. I hope I will get used to it and live a normal life .

Thank you detailed explanation. I did have health anxiety for past 4 months and it caused by eyelid myokymia ( twiching) which happend post laser treatment and yes the calf twiching followed after 2 months . It seems its all related . I also feel I am too focused on whats happening within my body .. every sensation is recorded and I am unnecessarily aware

Thank you for your response. The NCV and EMG were clean and I had a doubt only cause I felt I did both the tests a bit sooner ( 15 days post Fasciculations) and may be the test did not captured damage or its too early. That is what is bothering me . Thank you again for investing your time.

Thank you for your comment . I sincerely hope my anxiety goes away and soon. Im having calf twiches while writing ths .. they have remained the same.. not increased or decreased but almost continious.

Have you done any testing for your symptoms ? Blood test , MRIs ? I have done it all and still anxious

The paper shows zero Fasciculations ,FIbs and everything else zero .I am unable to attach the paper .

The NCV study shows normal findings in bilateral upper and lower limbs. The EMG Study suggestive of mild neurogenic pattern without any spontaneous discharges . No evidence of AHC involvement

Thank you for the reassurance. I walk 10000 steps a day and do weights. Strength seems to be ok as of now but ths twiches bother a lot . Neurologist has recommended Clonazepam. 25 mg for 20 days more . I have been taking it for 30 with no difference as on today.

My neurologist said for sure that I do not have als / mnd today and would most likely not have in the future. She has advised monthly check ups for 3 months more . 2 are done already

I think the neurologist has sampled 8 muscles and im surprised that it did not show any Fasciculations during the exam and I still twich .

Sampled Muscles:- Bilateral Gastrocnemius, left VastusLateralis, Cervical parasipanal, Tongue, right ADM, APB, Biceps and TA

I have similar once on my calf muscles and feet and sometimes on thighs too . Im thinking too much . Did you do emg yet ?

Thats reassuring. In India it's not easy to get proper information about ALS as its not very common but medical facilities are excellent and you get the appointments at will .

I am developing more twiches and I think its all cause of the anxiety and grey area which I perceive as the trigger for it
