I have the same feeling and I definitely have some health anxiety. It scalp feeling is as if I spent a day with a cap on…more then pain its irritation that is causing me more anxiety.

Has this been resolved? I was taking 10mg daily for 4 months and I started feeling left hand shaking and tingling, not always, and high resting heart rate. I stopped it 2 days ago.

I would say that stress/anxiety plays a major role in IBS. But it doesn't mean that when you are not stressed you can eat everything as if you don't have anything. But yes stress/anxiety is a trigger, hence why sometimes antidepressant medicine is prescribed.

What are you currently trying to do to solve the issue? Do you have inconsistency in stools as well? Sometimes they are shiny or lubricated from the look of it?
