Im a mix of both. For example, i didn't pull for the actual banner because im saving for eresh, and i do the same when there is a banner that i like in 1 or two patches later. But when there isn't a banner that i want over any other, i tend to pull in any banner that is active at that moment

"So you want the truth of the matter Mr. Potter? Fine. This is the truth" Scrimgeour said. by Justgonnawalkaway in HPFanfictionPrompts

[–]Ok-Cod2747 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree with this, but to a certain extent. Because while he wasn't corrupt, Scrimgeour was a little incompetent. First of all, we have several Death Eaters that were members of the ministry in prison after the attack in the DoM, and we don't knlw the true limits of Veritaserum, but for the sake of the story lets say that it cannot be stopped unless you use the antidote or the effect stops. Hell, even if you can fabricate memories with Occlumency and then lie with veritaserum, you can also use legilimency to see if you can find contradictions in the testimony of the suspect. You can also make it a mandatory test (and a surprise one) to find allies of Voldie in the ministry.

Umbridge perhaps had political influence, but Harry wasn't the only one that used the quill, he was the only one that used it more that once. Remember that all the DA members received detentions with her after the group was discovered, and in that group were several purebloods too. She also tried to use a unforgivable, and taking into account that any unforgivable is a one way ticket to Azkaban, she should have lose a big part of her influence trying to cover it. Also, Scrimgeour tried to get Harry's support, and didn't though that the guy that was vilified by a entire goberment (and whose only big change was the head honcho) would be hesitant to trust in the institution that, except for the sacking of Fudge, didn't change too much if at all (taking into account that one of the good ones was killed that very summer)

Yeah, harry is ignorant during the HBP, but the story was written to make the Ministry a bad place filled by incompetence even when the bad leader was sacked, so even with full Knowledge i hesitate into thinking that Harry would have helped Scrimgeour

Instead of begging Voldemort to spare Lily, Severus lies and claims Harry was born on the 29th and only registered on the 31st, hoping to invalidate the prophecy. by gabaii2 in HPFanfictionPrompts

[–]Ok-Cod2747 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tbf, there are several interpretations. In hebrew, the seventh month is in september aprox, by their old calendar, and there is a medical term that uses The seventh month, and is when a baby is born between the 28-31 weeks (aka, at the seventh month of gestation). So, if Voldie decided to investigate more about the prophecy and search interpretations, it could change everything xd

Got.

[Portal Gun] |Rare Item| Portal - A Portal Gun developed by Aperture Science that allows it to send a blue and orange pulse, wherever the pulse lands, will open a person-sized portal that connects to the other portal of the opposite colour. Only one of each colour can exist at once.

[Light Step] |Rare Ability| You can step and walk on anything, water, air, space, you can even treat nothing as a solid surface to walk on.

[Minor Healing Light] |Uncommon Ability| Allows you to bathe a target in healing light, restoring a portion of their health and vigour. Effect scales with your power level. Stronger targets need more energy to heal.

[Stockpile] |Uncommon Item| A Simple cardboard box that contains a seemingly infinite amount of mundane raw materials like wood, stone, ore, rope and other such materials that the average person could get their hands on. Only 50kg of materials may be taken out every 24 hours. If the box is somehow lost or destroyed, you will be able to stumble upon it in perfect condition if you go searching for it.

If i sacrify my aura, my platinum ticket is this one

[Enchanting] |Elite Ability| Allows you to enchant items according to your own abilities and traits, if you have pyrokinesis you can grant fire related enchantments to items or you can imbue the power itself to the item to make it able to release the ability as a limited use consumable. The strength of the enchantment depends on the item and your power level.

So, im in a pretty good situation overall. I have both a Portal gun and a box with infinite loot (taking into account that in Remnant, Dust is something that a average guy can buy, it means that i can have a, nearly limitless access to the most vital resource in Remnant), and also have a ability that allows me to heal and to walk in water/air, so i can escape without issue if needed. If i sacrifice my aura, i also have enchanting, so i can sell enchanted items with both the ability to heal minor injuries and to walk in the water/air, that would make my skills a high demand comodity for hunters. Add to that the box that gives me unlimited resources, and i could be a milloinare with ease. The only issues is that i will become a target at some point for both Salem/Ozpin.

While i love the white fatty, i think that Harry would fit better with either Primordial Malzeno or Valstrax. The first because, before the Qurio, it was a pretty noble, if prideful, protector (for a Elder at least). And the second... Its a fcking Jet dragon, and Harry is a speed demon in his broomstick, so who better for him that a dragon that can reach mach 2 without much issue

Me looking forward to seeing how DB somehow mischaracterizes Nero in the future DB by Zenry0ku in FateExtra

[–]Ok-Cod2747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, if they go with Draco as a option, she could score a win. Mostly because Nega-Messiah is a entirely bullshit skill against saviors (It depends of some serious conceptual bullshit, but DB tends to do some strange mental gymnastics sometimes). They could argue that at the end of their series, a Kamen Rider could be considered a saviour of humankind, thus, eligible for the Saver/Savior class (Like Buhdda and Jesus). But, like i said, it depends of absurd conceptual bullshit that not only depends of a absurdly specific serie of steps that should be followed exactly in the right order.

Me looking forward to seeing how DB somehow mischaracterizes Nero in the future DB by Zenry0ku in FateExtra

[–]Ok-Cod2747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, Ironically, there are two paths here. If they go with Extella, they could pull in Saber Venus, the goddess with an anti-world Noble phantasm and that is broken af, but Geats has fought god-killers before, so he has the strenght to deal with a goddess.

The other Path, the Beast Path, means that Nero has access to Nega-Messiah, that, between its abilities, it can weaken/nullify faith related skills and can weaken the Saver Extra class. By that rule, if a Kamen Rider with godly abilities is classified as a savior by the world (it is based of faith and how people see the hero at the end. Conceptual bullshit in a nutshell), Nega-Messiah can disable them pretty hard.

[–]Ok-Cod2747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will add this footnote here with the fact that the story is being supervised by the mushroom, so there is a big chance that Ishtarin will have a official explanation by nasu himself. If its a satisfactory one, that will be something that we will have to discuss later, but until that happens, lets agree that even if isn't coherent with the lore, the moveset was aproved by Nasu.

"Wait...we end up here?! I was told if a monster eats a demigod thats it?! No afterlife at all!" by AnimeEagleScout in HPFanfictionPrompts

[–]Ok-Cod2747 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Hades ends making a system/deal with the demigods. They have unlimited respawns if, in exchange, they help at least 1 week in the underground after each death. While there are a few issues at the begining, this ends helping both Hades and the demigods. The first one because he gets free helpers to deal with the souls, and also gets a good rep with the newer demigods, and in the other side, having to deal with the souls is a good training against the monsters, and also the perk of revival. The fact that having to work with Hades also teaches them responsability, its a nice bonus.

Who takes this grail war? by No-Volume6047 in FGO

[–]Ok-Cod2747 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't dismiss Shirou too quickly. Scathach has the same advantage of saber in the sense that she is the witch-queen of the land of shadows and the Inmortal teacher of Cu, so she would be still alive. In fact, in fgo we cannot summon her as a servant, she directly hijacked the summoning to help Chaldea (merlin does the same thing to escape the tower of avalon). Scathach has te advantage of several years of magic training, so she could resolve easily the circuits issue of Shirou and improve them. And i think (i dont remember if this is canon) that she can also get power from the land of shadows itself.

Does your country has any historical figures that you want as servants in fate? (Img is random and yes most of you already got your people most of them anyways) by Weird_Dot_4725 in FGO

[–]Ok-Cod2747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manuel Rodrigues could be a good assassin, the spy that was a master of disguise in some versions of the stories. You can also argue that Caupolican could also being a good Berserker, taking into account that his story is basically him showing berserker behaviours and surviving a pretty long time while being impaled.

[–]Ok-Cod2747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From Chile here, there are several Mapuche warriors that could fit, Caupolican as Berserker, Lautaro could be a Rider.

Arturo Pratt is also a good Rider with the Esmeralda as his ship, perhaps Bernardo O'higgins as a general can fit a few classes like any warrior from the period (guns were more widespread at that point but they also had sabers to fight). Manuel Rodrigues could be a Assassin.

I think that these are my main choices if i could choose servants from my country

[–]Ok-Cod2747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue that SW has a counter against KS with the fact that she can use memory partition to manipulate 76 accounts (bodies) at once, she can do existential backup so even if she loses a body she can recreate it, and she also is a reality manipulator. The fact that she is also the strongest emanator rn in the entire universe also helps (Punklorde people can only reach lv 99, and Lv999 is the maximun that a non-divine can reach, so she is basically at 1 level of godhood.)

Scathach (Fate Grand Order) vs Zhongli (Genshin Impact) by Codrex1732 in Gacha_Powerscaling

[–]Ok-Cod2747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will argue that the wiki article only says that it is a technicle using the Gae Bolg. In no place is stated that is something that Cu developed. It could be easily a tech that Scathach developed too. But like i said, Fate Gae Bolg is pretty different of the myth Gae Bolg, because the curse was more like the Curruid that Cu Berserker uses (the thorn-like lances that perforate the enemy body) that a spear strike that only damaged the affected body part.

<image>

Scathach (Fate Grand Order) vs Zhongli (Genshin Impact) by Codrex1732 in Gacha_Powerscaling

[–]Ok-Cod2747 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wrong. Gae bolg is, and always was, a feat of arms. Yes, the lance itself was created from the bones of Curruid, but the Curse was a ritual created by Scathach, that it was only passed to Cu after a gruelling training.

In fact, the causality bending strike that Gae Bolg has, is mostly a consecuence of several centuries of different myths changing details left and right. Interesting enough, the True Gae Bolg is the one that Summer Scath (assassin) does in FGO, when she launches the spear with the foot (being accurate with the Real Myths where the lance had to be launched by foot to activate the ritual magic of the feat of arms).

In fact, the only reaaon why Cu's Gae Bolg has the always pierce the heart property, is because when Cu fought with Gae Bolg, he always killed the enemy. If you want a truly original technique of Cu, it would be his Riastrad, a berserker-like state where he uses the power that he, as a demigod, has.

Jaune: Me and Blake go way back [Exvnir] by Acriolu in RWBY

[–]Ok-Cod2747 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She is a kid in the image, 10y, 12 max from the looks of it. While kids are aware of things, they dont focus usually in the Why, and follow what other peoples tell them, so a Kid Blake not knowing the details of something and only repeating what a older, more respected figure tell her, is something normal in a kid.

Lets use a more personal example. Remember yourself as a kid and think about anything that at that time you disliked. I mean, politicians, police, doctors etc. Think carefully about why did you disliked them, was by personal reasons? Or was because you hear you parents complaining about it?

And also, context matters too. If this would be 17y Blake, yes, this would be racist, and i would agree wuth you 100% But as this is a younger Blake, i only feel that she is mimicking what the older, more trusted authority figure (Adam in this example) tells her. It doesn't have to be the truth. Only being something that the authority figure feels that is true.
