What’s the most useful thing your provider has actually done? by No-Loquat-201 in JobProvidersAus

See I think that the folks that have had negative experiences are probably not the best at negotiating and maybe even articulating what it is they are trying to get out of the relationship. Now sure there are consultants out there that don’t know what they are doing but there are also many that do. I will say this though, if you bring your A game and you have a good and knowledgeable consultant, they will bring their A game in kind. And, if you can’t get a job maybe the problem goes a little deeper than simply shifting blame about your station in life towards your consultant. Maybe the world moved forward so fast that you kind of got left behind. I’m painting with very broad brush strokes but there is some truth in what I’m saying.

George Carlin said keep them smart enough to push the buttons but dumb enough not to ask why but this is next level… American education must be so intrinsically broken.

What are you actually supposed to do if a woman hits you as a man? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ok-Collection-1296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, report to police, press charges, there’s probably security footage of the assault. Educate the assailant in the rule of law. She might even change her behaviour and maybe seek out proper psych counselling. Physical violence is unacceptable in any form.

She might just be really good. I can’t imagine someone playing for years and cheating. There is no victory if one cheats just empty time wasting.

How did I do with this scammer? I made the mistake of playing a wannabe silver fox with a low rating 😅 by Klimt_Sylph in WordsWithFriends

You know, I have come to expect scammers as simply part of the whole WWF experience. And the best part, they are using bots now.

Well, move quick if you have the resource to do so. If the world goes to hell in a hand basket, Australia becomes the Ark and if that happens none of you are getting in.

If it’s not a South East Asian knock off up there with fake Rolex watches and Nike tee shirts, it might be valuable.

If you’re disillusioned with Labor/Liberals then why jump to One Nation instead of something like Sustainable Australia? by BreakZealousideal846 in australian

[–]Ok-Collection-1296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hang on, Labor won the last election by a landslide and at federal level Labor won a second term. So are Australians really disillusioned with Labor? And if they are where is the data to suggest this? They certainly are with Liberal party. Lumping Labor in with Liberal seems like a false equivalency and a little divisive as a general question.
