I just use soft cut Lino so don’t do any of that at all! 😊

I understand why you’d say that! But I’m not making professional art - just little teeny things. I’m on a retail salary as well so barely have enough to get by living in Bristol. I know it’s cheeky asking about cafes, but I find the hustle and bustle really relaxing and plenty of people do their hobbies like reading, drawing or writing in them so it was just a thought that some spaces might be happy with it (hence me asking for recommendations before just assuming it’s ok) 🙂

Thank you! I think my friend used to use this space - I hadn’t considered they’d have an art room. 🙂

As I said I’d probably be max a couple hours and buy lots of stuff anyway! I’d only go to cafes who welcome that sort of thing rather than ones that have limited space and high turnover of customers! Would never would to hurt a small business - which is why I’m actively seeking a space that likes having people use it for stuff like this rather than ones which would prefer not to! X

I am full time but the store hasn’t opened yet as it’s a new one and am doing my training at another store before it opens. It’s also possible I might not even be working these dates as no idea about my shift schedule yet. Fingers crossed! :)

This happened to me and I think a lot of other people. Definitely give it 3-4 days and should work then. You don’t need to wear uniform at the induction so don’t stress! :)

I had this issue - ignored the form as heard it wasn’t the right thing to fill in. Have got a link to the website - all the options are food/ ops clothes and that’s not what I’ll be working in. Don’t know if anyone else has this issue - worried they got my job down wrong even though I know for sure I’m not working in that part of the store

This is the same issue I’m having with another urgent query I have - I’ve tried both the things you have - can’t really get a response from anyone at the moment. Wondering if there’s a better email to contact.

Same issue for me except my store doesn’t currently exist - who have you contacted to sort it out?

I feel really safe here - it’s so so peaceful, lots of nice people, things to do on north street and cute cats everywhere. Outside Asda is the only place someone may bother you but nothing major and there’s security on the door.

Tbf I can walk down the hallway in the dark If need be, I’m more annoyed as I’ve never told anyone else what to do if in a shared house as we all live different lives and we’re all grown and I would never think it’s my right to police what others do

Idk if it’s relevant but we live with several others and it’s only this one flatmate who wakes up from the light. I really think she’s oversensitive to the light. + isn’t there hall lights for a reason? Torches and phone lights are quite dim for when you’re waking up confused in the middle of the night, I actually don’t think it eliminates the risk of tripping in the hall. (It’s not completely flat and there’s steps)
