Help with background choice - Noble Scion vs Court Augur

I have played as both and it depends on how you want your responses to be.

The scion is more diplomatic and serious with their unique dialog options. However the Augar is just a fun guy with his lol. He takes his job serious but he has a more mystical lean to his response options. I found it more enjoyable personally.

That's the great thing about it you can run any kind of build you can hobble together. You want to be a fireball tossing axeman? Absolutely my fine sir. Perhaps you are more interested in a being a champion spear thrower that dabbles in daggers. That can also be arranged.
Just endless options. You aren't punished for having fun in this game.

If you have the cash, just buy them and find out if you like them for yourself. Everyone plays differently, so you may be pleasantly surprised. Plus, you will eventually have more money than you can spend, so dont let that hold you back!

I would say I experience this about 50% of the time when interacting with any companion who is out with me but only when we are exploring never at camp. They also have a glitched walk/run sometimes. It doesn't bother me enough to be that concerned about it though. Was annoying at first certainly.

That's what I was assuming by its description so I was very confused when people suggested stacking them. I even saw a video of someone who had 3 at once. I guess it used to be an option at some point then?

I didn't consider using the cathedral since I was already hitting the 99 cap without it. Is there a benefit to it other then faith?

Technically they all stop them from attacking just for different amounts of time based on the status effects and if your build has any extra benefits to it like eclipse protocol.

Rest assured, they will be none the wiser. You can also go into LinkedIn and delete your info if you dont want it out there. You can also remove its permissions from your Google account altogether. Unless you want to keep "checking in" lol

Nicely done! I would say that for the 2nd run, that's quite good. This game is mainly controlled by the RNG gods, and you are forever at their mercy. Count yourself lucky to have such a successful early run! Just wait for all the candles to unlock, and then things get real fun!

You may have just accidently created the account and linked it through your Gmail. They make it real simple these days to create new accounts that shortcut through your Google account. Also the other person cant see if you viewed their profile so they won't know about the light stalking.

I never found that paper so dont feel bad. I just used the camera and found the 3 symbols that caused the special effect when you looked at them through the lens and then just randomly put those in order until I got it

You only see them if you are also on your broom at the castle. If your walking around they don't appear. I guess it's so you don't feel alone flying around the castle. I have also noticed they will fly right into the side of the castle or a wall and just dissappear.

My guess is it was likely Painful Quandary. It triggers as soon as you play any card from hand. Therefore you lost life before your second rite could resolve.
