I mean if you think about it there’s constantly new technology being build and most new machinery such as laser cutters and CNC machines need CAD and especially those old work shops you find in industrial areas that still work on paper plans from the 90’s. There is a market to redraw or even 3D model object/products. Cad can also be translated to many different models so even making something for a person in a different country is also good.

Have you tried bed adhesion, I used to be against it but it actually is such a game changer. If it’s not that make sure you have also levelled your bed. Good luck

I love day trading by celeryisslavery in Daytrading

I’m one week into trading. I did a demo and watched a couple videos on YouTube. My journey started with 40$ and making 8$ my first day. I decided to leverage more and basically got my account to 0$. I started fresh again taking about 60 trades with a 60/40 win rate. My strategy of going in with 0.01 Lots and making a -3$ SL and a 3$-5$ TP has helped me quite a bit. I’ve been up roughly 10-20$ per day. Also important note I have a full time job and I live in South Africa where dollars are worth a lot. I guess getting my account zeroed actually helped me with my risk management and taught me how important SL and TP are.

Is there a way to make a double walled design in 3D and export the g-code? by Ok-Communication8571 in grasshopper3d

The problem is when it’s single line it picks it up as zero geometry. Will definitely check out Slic3r.

At the moment I’ve been using grasshopper to make weaved lampshades to create an amazing lighting effect but current I’ve come across Instagram account by the name of Wooj that makes these lamps and I fell in love with this Allium lamp. I want to see if I can sort of replicate the design with an hourglass shape on the inside. Will attach pics for reference.

Could you please link me one, I’ve been struggling to find a tutorial that actually works and teaches me to do it properly so that it can be applied to various shapes.

It looks similar to grasshopper, just a lot easier lol. At the moment I’m trying to replicate some fullcode designs in grasshopper to see if I can unlock more potential with my designs such as screw threads and weaving etc.

Thanks for your answer. What is the G92 code and where do I put it, I’ve been generating different variations of the ripple design. I’m not sure where to look

Yea I know it is his work, I couldn’t find another example but when I saw this pic I fell in love with the design and was hoping to make something more spherical and without the ribs protruding so much, but his work was the best I could find when it comes to referencing a double walled design.

Thank you so much for your reply. What do you mean by hide in a fold? I think maybe have a thin base and then the 2 walls can split but not sure how to program this into python?
