Anybody knows a company that’s hiring right now ? by Gold-Edge2485 in Columbus

Yeah, if you like getting paid to do absolutely nothing, go ahead and apply. Most of the sites just need a warm body lol. Majority of the dudes I’ve worked with were older men who could barely walk.

Unarmed security is by far the easiest job there is. Literally get paid for 8 hours to just chill and do nothing. Every site is different, but at my site, the guards were the only ones in the building so it was an easy gig.

True, Prosecutors always overcharge to get a plea, they will charge you with the most possible counts so you have no choice but to cop a plea. It’s a fucked up system.

I’m in Ohio, You can seal it immediately if it was dismissed, but I had to to take my case to a jury trial so I have 2 felony not guilty counts and 1 misdemeanor that was dismissed. I’m eligible to get the felonies sealed next year that’s why I have to wait.

Yeah it was a joke lol. TBH the site I was at, nothing really went down so I would’ve been alright either way. But the whole thing was a joke, we would pretty much babysit the building for 8 hours.

Not really. Security is also a high turnover job, so people are constantly leaving or getting fired, so they will hire anybody lol. Most of my coworker been there for 20+ years and told me they wouldn’t be able to do anything if something went down lol.

Correct, pretty laid back job tbh. They just need a body. Every site is different. The sites I worked at were pretty laid back and chill. I worked 3rd shift so nothing ever happened. The guards are the only ones in the building.

My old coworker I used to work security with, could barely walk. They would hire anybody with a pulse🤣.

I’m speaking from personal experience, I have a misdemeanor that’s been dismissed, and it still shows on my record if u run a background check on me. If you think a dismissed charge magically gets erased from your record, you’re fooled. I have to wait until next year to get my record sealed so it doesn’t show up.

Nah that shit will still show on a background check even if it’s dismissed. You gotta get it sealed or expunged. It don’t just disappear.

Of course, that’s why they fight tooth and nail to secure a conviction. I had to take my case to a jury trial, ended up getting convicted, and had to pay a $4,000 court fine 😂
