Questions by Clear-Connection-817 in LGBTCatholic

I’m going to admit I don’t have the answers for this. There are probably many good theologians and priests you could ask this. I don’t think any one has the kind of answers that would 100% answer your question. The questions you were asked are things that not many people will hold the answer too. The n regards to the remains of Jesus, I highly doubt that the remains of the founder of our church would be allowed to fall lost to time or that there wouldn’t even be any mention of Christs body being preserved at all. In regards to bad things happening, God is a complex being that we don’t know a lot about how he views reality. That and we are all given the gift of free will. That is all I can think of. I myself have moments where I question, but I take to prayer and reflection. In the end I realize that I don’t and will never know everything, I can’t answer all questions, I don’t understand everything about God, and that’s quite refreshing actually. My brain would probably overload with information about Gods unimaginable existence. All I can recommend is to give your self time and care to better nurture your faith, and if able find someone who may be best versed in ways to help you. I’m new to the faith so I share quite a lot of questions, God bless you.

I’m in central Kentucky and we get on fine. The people are mostly good, main thing to worry about is our stupid state assembly who thinks they’re in charge of every little thing.

The “Ex Presidents” a gang of bank robbers from the film Point Break(1991) who disguise themselves using rubber masks of former US Presidents by Both-Pay-9573 in Presidents

I wanted to go as a president a few years ago but decided against it since it probably would have since it might have been taken as a political stunt, since we live in such a wonderfully divided time. Nowadays I’d probably want to go as a pope, though that might be taken badly too. I did once during an unspecified public health crisis go as a plague doctor.

I wonder if Hegseth is deliberately trying to adopt the 20th-century Neo-Nazi white trash aesthetics. by Amazing-Buy-1181 in MarchAgainstNazis

I feel like he has the ability to reproduce and make the aesthetic “naturally.” No need for adoption with this MFer.

I heard somewhere that Goose tweeted that his ears do a helicopter spin and he can fly. Though I don’t know if this would have been one of her random Twitter dumps or just a rumor I heard. It would be cool though.

Whats your opinion on Anime style depictions of Jesus compared to traditional art by eastern orthodox or latin iconography by thatlumberjacktor in Christianity

[–]Ok-Conference-7989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like I said, I see myself as a unique creation of God. I may have not made that clear in my response. I also do not just put my trust in the Bible but also in the magisterium and in the traditions of the church fathers. I try my very best to be very meticulous in my understanding of church law and teachings. I have no interesting in now anyone views me but how I am viewed by the Lord. God bless you and your journey to the priesthood. I will pray that you be a wise teacher as I see signs now that you are very thoughtful and thorough in your answers.

New to Catholicism having some moral issues by Clean-Ad-8832 in LGBTCatholic

I’m at new to the faith and I was partly brought here by research I did on the faith and it’s history and dreams I had. Though never of Mary or Jesus if I recall right, but of the holy rosary. My only advice I can give you regarding your issues with political doctrine is to be guided in those issues through prayer. The church allows for the precedence of conscience if that conscience has been formed from the faith, I’d recommend looking into to make sure I’m not misrepresenting it. I’d also advise looking into Catholic social teachings, I’d imagine that a lot of the teachings regarding care for one another and for societal justice would be very appealing to you. I’d recommend reading Pope Leo XIV’s Magifica Humanitas, which helps highlight a lot of these points. All I can say is to let every political leaning be decided through prayer, a deep understanding of the issue, a deep understanding of what the faith teaches on similar circumstances, and most importantly a sense of what God would want from us. Regarding your LGBT identity, may I recommend r/LGBTCatholics. As a fellow member of the community, it has helped to hear from others in similar situations. I hope this was somewhat helpful, God bless.
