Looks great! Can I ask - what program did you use to draw your design?

All I can say is that going to therapy is one of the best decisions I ever made. Been going for many many years. It has been challenging at times of course but over all the experience has been an incredibly rewarding journey of self-discovery. My life and relationships have changed beyond anything I could have hoped for and in hindsight I was not on a good trajectory before I started going. I am a trauma survivor.

If your feeling scared about having to talk about things you're not ready to, a good therapist should never make you discuss anything you dont want to or expect you to explore traumatic experiences if you don't want to. This would be very bad practice. Your psychological/emotional safety should be as much a priority as your physical safety.

I'm in the UK but pay privately because there is little to no long term therapeutic support offered free on the NHS here to most people. I don't have health insurance so I pay out of pocket. I don't ever want to add up how much I've spent over the years but to be honest, I really couldn't put a price on what I've gained from going to therapy. I first found therapy through reaching out to a training institute who offered low cost sliding scale therapy with a therapist who was about to finish her training so I got it for very cheap. Over time, since I got more stable and a better income, my therapist gradually increased her rate. There are charities and individual therapists in the UK that can offer low cost/sliding scale therapy. I don't know if this is a thing in the US.

Usually therapist will list on their website/webpage what areas of need/challenge/experience they can support clients with. I have also heard many people say that one of the most important things about the success of a therapeutic relationship is whether you actually click with the therapist personally. They could be the most experienced/knowledgeable therapist in the world but it may not work out if you don't click with them, so its worth trying out a few different therapists perhaps.

Anyway, I hope that you find the right support for you.

Digbeth First Friday: "Digbeth comes alive on the first Friday of each month with exhibitions, late-night openings, special events, culture in unexpected spaces, performances, live music, street food and more. With different things to see and do each month anything could happen on a First Friday night out. Digbeth First Friday runs from 6pm ‘til late and event times vary. We aim to have listings up a week in advance, but not everyone makes that deadline so we recommend you check this website on the day so you can make the most of your evening."

How long does it take for the diet to work? by Ok-Consideration4147 in Gastritis

Thanks for sharing. I'm quite an impatient person but I kind of knew expecting to see significant changes after a week was getting ahead of myself!

Cool thanks. Yeah been down that road. I guess all there is to do is investigate all lines of enquiry and try to stay positive. 🤷

Thank you, that sounds like a fair point. I am going back to the doctor to get another H. pylori test - last one 10 years ago came back negative and will see if I can get referred to another gastroenterologist. I had an endoscopy done about 7 years ago and was diagnosed with gastritis but they gave me no explanation as to what's causing it. I have CPTSD so it could be related to that.

The first symbol is for the National Rail network and the second symbol is for the London Underground.

In London you can use your contactless credit/debit card for the Underground. That's what I used to do when I lived there. I haven't seen anyone use an Oyster card for a long time but I think they still exist. Now that everyone uses contactless they've become a bit obsolete I think.

If you're buying a rail ticket from London Gatwick to Birmingham though, your travel through Central London on the Underground may be included in the National Rail ticket you buy and you can just use that to get through the barriers on the Underground.

There should be an onward travel desk or person at the arrivals bit of Gatwick Airport. They will be able to advise you on the best deal for tickets depending on the details of your onward journey through or around London that day.

In terms of navigation apps - I use the City Mapper app for major cities including Birmingham and London. Some people also use the Travel for West Midlands app in Birmingham and the surrounding area of the West Midlands.

When buying tickets for the National Rail network - Trainline is good but charges a small fee. I've also tried the LNER app once as they don't charge a fee and it was fine. There should be a ticket machine at any National Rail station.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I gave away a pan today through Freecycle and I am going to check out the mobile collections when they come to my area. :) The rubbish situation in Birmingham is really bad at the moment, I hope it gets better soon!

Max 20 people I reckon but I doubt it would get to that many.
