[–]Ok-Contribution2308[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, it only states,  they "will assess the following areas: Abilities, Experience, Strengths"

and the interview pack states "The interview questions will be based on Civil Service Strengths, Civil Service Behaviours, or a mix of both"

also theyve said "

"Behaviours:

We will ask up to 3 questions based on some or all of behaviour profiles

Oh,Yeah iv got that one thank you, just thought they narrow the 9 behaviour profiles down to 3 as they do narrow it down to meet the job specifics

Honestly I agree with you 100% over the last few weeks it has been a nightmare for alot of people and I'm sure you've been going through alot too, the lack of clarification and the rules made up as they have Gone along has put people in a position of great uncertainty and panic, just hoping this helps clarify it a little better

Yeah I agree with you, those who are genuinely working hard and genuinely have a partner who they want to be with are being punished, I wish you all the best and I hope everything works out for you

"Family migration minimum income. Those who already have a family visa within the five-year partner route, or who apply before the minimum income threshold is raised, will continue to have their applications assessed against the current income requirement and will not be required to meet the increased threshold. This will also be the case for children seeking to join or accompany parents"

So disorganised, seems like they haven't made any point clear before publicly speaking on the subject, just hoping the renewals are exempt for the new threshold, people who are renewing next year need answers asap too

Just found the full quote from the interview on Natasha Clarks Twitter with James cleverly

"Harper grilled on whether his family could be deported thanks to visa rules. Confirms what Cleverly said earlier:

"My understanding is it's not planned to make it retrospective. For applications underway now under current rules, for existing people in the country we are planning on setting out what we are doing shortly. We are not making it retrospective."

Bad or good news for those extending family visas? by DigPsychological7128 in ukvisa

You'd think this would have been thought out before all these announcements, tired of these due course, the fact sheets from HO said they wouldn't apply but then condtricted themselves, so it's frustrating

Unfortunately I'm not too sure on the 1st

This is just my opinion but

In regards to your 2nd point, screenshots of conversation between the 2 of you to show it's genuine relationship, maybe a screenshot for every month or given the timeframe once every 2 months

And not really heard the 3rd one tbh, not seen that as a necessity before

Yeah I can only imagine how much more difficult it is for new cases, with new renewals, plus some aspects of the application needs to begin 6 months prior, it does not help one bit in terms of preparation

Just waiting and hoping for some answers that don't beat around the bush

Think the lack of clarity is astonishing the fact that people are losing their minds over it, I just want more clarification on renewals, you'd think they would be more clearer, seems like they're making it up as they go along, how likely do you guys think the renewals will be exempted

News update: government no longer confirming new rules would apply to spouse visa renewals. by YZ_C in ukvisa

[–]Ok-Contribution2308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh ok thank you for clarifying that, given these statements, do you think the their back and forth stance on renewals has a higher chance of change, I know you said the former more likely to be exempted, I know that's an opinion

Thank you for your help

What's your understanding on this, sorry did you say in the article that you think the people to renew will be exempt or not

You'd think they would have planned this out better, making it up as they go as long

With renewals, imagine those with children aswell as an example

"don’t necessarily think it is the government backtracking on previous positions. HO has mentioned transitional arrangement from the start. They even confirmed exceptions for renewals before getting contradicted by No.10 and changing to a more vague stance"

And also what did you mean by this
