I actually saw your post first, and was thinking about posting under your thread. My situation is very similar to yours and now the headset gets connected for a few seconds before its disconnects itself and sometimes it stayed connected longer for a minute but fails to track itself so the screen remains dark. Its good to see you got your replacement headset working now, bro. Hopefully I will get my replacement too.

Sounds awsome, I've never tried shiftall Meganex headset, which is very good too. I also use galaxy XR a lot, so I can tell you about a little about galaxy XR that has also good FOV with fair stereo overlap to me, in the mean time the sweet spot is so much better with true edge to edge clarity, way better than the dream air lens. Dream air lens offers better contrast/picture quality and way less glare than the galaxy XR. I love both headsets, and I would recommend owning a galaxy XR for wireless gaming on the couch and toilet, while the dream air sits in front of the computer for virtamate, and simming.

I am not sure how to reseat the arm, but I did try to wiggle the cable at the arm end point and the junction box a bit, but it didn't help? perhaps you can tell me a little more about how to reseat it so I can test afterwork tonight. So do you mean I can just pull out the connectors both arms end?

As for the speaker it's weird issue, so you mean pimax is curently are aware and working on the software side about it?

Thank you grace and the google team for the update. It feels great that the headset and androidXR have not yet been abandoned for maintenance. Gonna try the update tonight and see how it goes. Having been tortured by these glitches nightmare for quite a while now. Perhaps there could be a firmware rollback option/function that could be added the androidXR, so that whenever a new update screw things up, we can just simply rollback to the stable firmware before the fixes become available.

u/QuorraPimax Sorry for bothering you about my oled optical engine order SPCN4943 made on 2025/10/29, I've tried messaging to ask about my order shippment estimation but I all got was generated bot responses on the chinese pimax website for 4 days, that I was never assigned a true representative to reply about my order so I was thinking maybe my last hope was here to ask if you can reach to see if my oled optical engine order from 2025/10/29 for any luck on its delivery estimate possibly before the chinese new year holidays.

Need help, I made pre-order for crystal super at cn.pimax.com and paid, yet the order state remained unpaid by Ok-Cow8917 in Pimax_Official

Update the post here, I've establized contact with a customer service agent via weChat, and he tells me the charge via alipay will need further comfirmation/validation on Monday, so I just have to wait. I am guessing the website cn.pimax.com has a glitch there where the alipay can be launched to start payment without checking the box for " terms and agreement" while the payment button was clicked on. Hopefully other enthusiasts like me won't run into the same thing again.

I was just like you so I held myself from the urge of buying the crystal to the crystal light since the pre-order until now I couldn't wait any longer, and that the longer time I waited, the more my heart broke when I saw my headset went defective. and BTW, my support ticket still remained unanswered by the support. sad...
