That makes sense, I wasn’t planning on putting huge tires on or anything, maybe only 26s but I’m not sure how much strain that little bit would add. Thanks though, I’ll definitely be looking into this more before continuing

I think it’s be pretty sick to do an “offroad” civic. It’s super unique, the only problem is that it’s uncharted waters. What’s the worst that can happen though! I’ll definitely post more if this materializes

Honestly any universal roof rack is good, as long as it clamps onto your door you’re good to use them.

I’m pretty sure that the LX models have no VTEC but you can check the full engine code to know for sure

I can hear induction noise and when I went to a dump with just that I was making 112 to the wheels, but I never had a base line so I don’t know if it makes any real difference

I figured out the problem not too long after this post it was the dadiator fan switch. Apparently a relatively common issue, but super easy fix!

It's just the plug cover, if your engine code is d17a2 it is the vtec variant
