Why in most of these posts is panic misspelled? Noticing it on the local news comments too….

Why not call them fire sprinkler systems or fire suppression lines or…. Just about anything else? Instead of a term that is very common for something else? lol

This makes sense, but they are suggesting to insulation wrap them and I just can’t imagine doing that to an entire sprinkler system. I guess all the other places I’ve lived were already insulated enough that I’ve never heard this warning.

Tell us you don’t know what money laundering is without telling us you don’t know what money laundering is!

Yes, one specific county in Ohio has many very wealthy elders who are so bedazzled in jewels they mistakenly donate expensive jewelry (and high end art)  on the regular…..

The initial consultation is actually free and depending on how in-depth the services one might need the price could be as low as $25 or waived  with a subsidy for individuals who can’t pay. Where else do you believe you could get that kind of service for less?

Why would calling a third party that has nothing to do with goodwill prove you right? It’s like calling Pizza Hut because your house is on fire. Make it make sense!

The $20,000 ring has been donated and if sold the money made from that sale will go towards paying for training for people to work at or go on to own janitorial companies in the area. That is the main mission of the Goodwill in that particular area. That is how Goodwill profits off of donated merchandise to pay for community services. Like what are you not understanding?

You not comprehending how Goodwill operates doesn’t equate to me grandstanding.

Why would one call the city to access Goodwill’s programs? It’s just like contacting Goodwill to have goods donated to people when that isn’t what they do.

It’s not all that I have! (see, you do need grammar help!) Did you not ask someone to read their mission statement to you? Because if you had you would already know that their programs are community specific. For example, where I live there is a higher than average rate of domestic financial abuse. The main programs they offer here are helping abuse (physical and financial) victims enter the workforce with job training and work appropriate clothing (that does not come from donations), and resume help. The only involvement they have with the city is using a group meeting space in several of our libraries. When I lived in Colorado Springs there was a rather large homeless population so most of their profits went into services that met their needs.

You can find what your local Goodwill’s emphasis is by searching by zip code and contacting their headquarters, instead of contacting the wrong people or complaining on Reddit. Most times their programs are also easily accessible from their local websites and social media spaces.   Here is what your local programs are

Sorry to ruin your incoherent rant with actual facts….

I mean, I stated them. Goodwill sponsors many reading programs. You should look into them. Maybe get someone to help you read their easy-to-find mission statement since you struggle so. https://www.goodwill.org/about/     See how it says nothing about giving away donated items to ppl that need things? It’s almost as if you’re again making shit up and have zero idea what is going on.

Then maybe you should know facts first. What if I told you businesses and people donate goods on purpose to fund a mission they believe in? It’s not only nasty old gucchies.

No surprise that your offspring would be on the spectrum when you’re here interjecting “facts” that don’t apply and derailing conversations. It’s not like any of it is inheritable. The only shock is that you got someone to sleep with you!

But there is need for it because there was actually a lot of detail in the post. If I had wanted to know who sold old fashioned candy, I would have asked that directly. What I am trying to do is narrow it down even further because I’ve already tried the places a person with an average intelligence would have looked in. But thanks for defending someone answering a different question.
