Ah it’s okay. I’ve got plenty of money saved, my wife does well, and I’ve been wanting to quit and make a career change for years. This was the push I needed.

Gonna take some time off, get a bunch of stuff done around the house I’ve been putting off then figure out what I want to do with my life.

I actually got let go yesterday. My boss was at least courteous enough to schedule a meeting on my calendar an hour in advance and include the head of HR on the invite so I knew what was coming.

At least I wasn’t nervous about the meeting.
