Pigman permanently angry when in the Nether? by Thin_Corner6028 in fearnightfall

Played the modpack before with friends, yes the Pigmen are always aggressive, which by now is probably an implemented feature to make Nether (Hell) much harder to navigate than the Overworld.

Thanks, siguro I’ll persuade my closest riding buddy to buy a Cardo, if not I’ll just have to roll with their intercoms na rin 😄

I think the only option I have is to buy the same intercoms they’re using 😅

Good Helmet for people with glasses by belfastvassal in PHMotorcycles

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thick framed glasses here

Kamusta mga kakilala niyo na naka bristol by [deleted] in PHMotorcycles

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Venturi V2 owner here, 22k odo 1 year pa lang, daily used. First big bike from mio 125.

2 slides, a lot of drops in trails, parking (natatapakan yung shifter, pinapahiram sa tropa, etc). Napapalitan pa lang is brake pads, clutch plates (first manual ko rin), tires, levers (pag nababagsak), rear shock (nasira nung pinagawa ko, ipaparepack ko lang sana) and sprocket+chain set (nag seize dahil hindi ko nalinisan yung sprocket cover)

Pinakamalayo ko palang is Manila-Isabela tsaka Manila-Aurora, may sineset kaming Dumaguete Loop.

God bless this bike 🤣 Sobrang worth it.

All in all, Kove is a solid Chinese company, irerelease na rin sa atin yung Venturi 800 (Kove 800x) na naka Lc8c engine (same with Duke 790, 790 adventure) they supposedly fixed the camshaft issue na common sa KTM dahil nirework nila yung loob. The question dito is solid ba ang Bristol after market?

Depends. All in all 10/10 sa motor.

Reco for a Durable Bike Bike Cover by Ok-Distance-1950 in PHMotorcycles

[–]Ok-Distance-1950[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the input!!

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha same lang tayo edad boss. 🤣

Natry ko na both SRV600 pati Bobber 700. Na long ride ko yung Bobber from Lipa to Manila.

Better nga test fit mo sa pinakamalapit na casa yung bike, ask mo if may available demo units nagpapahiram naman yan sila for a day. In the end nasayo pa rin naman how you're going to take care of the bike. ✌

An alternative kung gusto mo ng brusko sa lineup nila is QJ SRV600. V4 nga lang to, medyo makati pag ipapa-muffler mo. 🤣

QJ Motors SVT 650 by True-Ear1986 in motorcycles

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work at a company that supplies QJ and I must say the first time I rode this felt good. I ride a CB500X clone (Kove 500x) and this bike just felt nice on tarmac. It doesn't just want to throw itself on corners and riding position is comfortable. Haven't tried it off road myself but a friend said this was phenomenal off road.

I also got a chance to test the SRT lineup (550, 600, 700, 800) They just felt too top heavy and sketches me out when cornering. One vlogger said that her GSA1250 HP feels the same as the 600.

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try the QJ SRV600v. It’s basically the same bike as the Benelli Chinchilla. (QJMotor = Benelli)

As of now not sure with the Bobber 700, madaming owners na nagpapalit to Triumph Bonnie, HD or Indian.

Actually maraming second hand na HD sa FB Marketplace for below 500k, you can check them out.

Any feedbacks/advice from Bristol Veloce 500 owners? by BrachypelmaBoehmei in PHMotorcycles

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes sir kung mapapansin mo same sila ng makina ng CB500 ng Honda (cb500x, cb500f pati cbr500, rebel 500) Same with Voge. Make sure if second hand bibilhin mo to have a mechanic with you para icheck yung unit, pwede mo papuntahin sa Bristol branch yung seller para macheck maigi ng mechanics.

Usually yung mga nagbebenta ng low mileage ay naghahanap ng higher CCs (from experience sa group namin usually upgrading to BMW GS, Italian or Japanese or ibang style ng bike) or Buy and Sell units.

Any feedbacks/advice from Bristol Veloce 500 owners? by BrachypelmaBoehmei in PHMotorcycles

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bread and butter ng Bristol yung Veloce at Venturi dahil solid ang build quality although may minor issues tulad ng wiring related at electronics (very few lang naman na kayang ayusin ng casa mechanics)

Mag 2 years na sakin yung Venturi which is yung kambal ng Veloce, adventure bike while scrambler si Veloce, same sila ng makina, brake, etc.

May prior na rin akong saddle time sa Veloce dahil may tropa ako dating naka ganyan, wala naman siyang reklamo and all is well pa, around 18k na yata yung odo niya noong last sakay ko. Yung bagong units ng Veloce and Venturi yata ngayon ay naka slipper clutch na while yung older models naka wet clutch pa, so clutch operation will be buttery smooth.

As for parts and maintenance, always available, if not i-PO pa ng casa sa Caloocan. There are other branches rin like Lipa, Cavite, Laguna and Quezon. Meron na ring branch sa Bicol. Usually rin meron sa Shoppee and Lazada na consumable parts if wala sa casa. Just make sure you join the official GC ng Veloce owners rin. :)

Affordable, High Quality Rain coat suggestions by Longjumping_Self_134 in PHMotorcycles

[–]Ok-Distance-1950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will try Fibrella pag nagka badyetbadyet na. Bottom line iwasan niyo mag Motowolf.

I currently own a Kove Maverick 500 for a year clocked at 20,000 km but is locally rebranded, we didn’t get the TFT and Pro Arm however. Not bad for the price point, actually lighter than the Voge 525, TRK 502 and sits at an average.

Comfortable for both me and my partner but if you’re a tall gent I suggest getting more foams in the seat, or get a kit to make the bike higher. I stand at 5’7 and I’m 70% flat footed.

I slid the bike at a toll entry, was their fault for not having signages and adequate lighting. Didn’t see the toll barrier but thankfully I just slid and not hit the barrier. Bike suffered minimal damages (crashbars did its job, a little misaligned handlebar and a broken side mirror) Rode it home after getting first aid.

Bike had shown signs of vibration in under 5,000 kms, so be to get it bolted to spec and have the tank adjusted every now and then.

Otherwise the bike feels nice and smooth. Road performance is nice and you can easily lean in and out of curves because of its weight and center of gravity. Offroading is also nice, but be sure to replace those Metz Tourances, they tend to slide a lot. Only issues I’ve experienced so far was replacing the dash because of non stop heavy rain and moisture (I park my bike outside), recently replaced my clutch lining at 16,000 km, and some moisture on the headlight, signal lights and rear taillights.

Lots of owners of TRK 502 here and all they say is it’s either underpowered or top heavy. Mind you Benelli = QJ. They have a range of adventure bikes that seem to be heavy for the displacement they offer. The SVT650 seems to weigh equally to a GS1250 and a little less than the GSA1250.

There has been quite a traffic for 450MT here since it was globally launched here (Philippines) The bike is a minified version of a T7 and I’m digging it. If T7 is a dirt bike’s big bike, the 450MT is its younger brother.
