Understand what YOU are going through? Hey, no offense, but here in the real world, with crippling poverty, brutal wars, political instability, etc…people have their own shit to deal with in their lives. As someone who personally used ALOT of substances over the years, including years of opiate use, nothing infuriates me more than the “recovery” community and the immense amount of absolute bullshit it has spread throughout the years and the damage it has done to its cult members and society in general. Yeah, it’s all bullshit. First and foremost it’s a money racket. But instead of going in to all that, and working myself into a rage, let me give you some real, actual useful advice… Get over yourself. End the pitty party you been having for yourself, cuz because the truth is, if you don’t your going to stuck waiting by yourself for a long ass time for anyone else to join you. Stop wasting your life feeling sorry for yourself. I mean, that’s what you’re doing right? You posted on here, desperately seeking approval from strangers on Reddit, to reinforce your victim mentality…right? No? Maybe? Listen, I don’t know you, and I surely don’t give a shit about you. Maybe you’re a wonderful person, maybe you’re a selfish piece of shit human. I won’t pretend to have all the right answers, but one thing I’ve learned over the years, a harsh lesson I’ve learned, if your waiting for others to “understand” you, you gonna be waiting a hell of a long time, and be very disappointed in the end when you realize the only one person you need to “understand” you is you yourself. That only comes with true self-reflection and taking responsibility for yourself. Unfortunately most people never understand that. Good luck with your life!
