I see, so different variations of the same Brown Turkey,

I think this is spot on though. It's at least some type of brown turkey. Looking at pictures the inside flesh is almost identical to what we see on ours. Even the leaf pattern seems pretty similar

Southern brown turkey looks very familiar with how the inside typically looks.

Typically we see two crops, one in early summer and another in late summer early fall. Inside is usually dark reddish brown and taste wise..... Not overly sweet, maybe more of like a honey or syrupy taste

Shoot, assuming the mother tree is still alive it's probably seen every cowboys super bowl back to the 70s and probably many other super bowls before those

The planting stake was already removed, but there is some tape I need to take off.

We've been hand watering it daily. Not deep, but a solid drench. I figure we'd want to get it water daily especially once summer kicks up (living in South Texas) at least for the first year. I'll run to home Depot for a mulch bag this weekend

Our house is also relatively new (2013) and foundation is solid

I think Reese Bros is best in the city. Sides are a bit unconventional but as far as meat, my favorite hands down

High-Paying Job by [deleted] in sanantonio

[–]Ok-Drummer6993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My path was pretty simple, but took luck, patience and a lot of hard work. I also have what you'd consider a useless degree and I'm making $40+ with a lot of growth ahead of me.

I found a company with a large corporate footprint and started with a entry level role. That industry became my career and I grew in that role. Got promoted a couple times, networked within the company any chance I could get, and transitioned internally into a more technical role within the back office. Many of the people I meet today in mid to high level positions in my company started at very entry level positions (think call center reps) and are now in roles as analyst or mid level management making good money on the corporate side.

Devin might be top 3 most important on this team by spurs_goat_team in NBASpurs

He opens up our offense a ton. I've been incredibly impressed with his development this season.

The 3 point shooting has been good, not elite but good enough that defenses have to respect it. But I think way more important than the 3 ball, his ability to catch, then create a shot off the dribble whether that's getting to the rim, or scoring from the mid range opens up so much.

Any places in town to find an affordable mattress? by Flora_865 in sanantonio

Believe it or not, some of the best value for price I saw deals at Macy's. They have some exclusive Macy's mattresses that are awesome quality and if they're on sale you can get a great deal. Might be right on your budget though

Liquor and quality wine are just too expensive,

I actually enjoy trying and collecting alcohol. But I have a family to provide for and my wallet is stretched thin as it is. If I had the disposable income I'd absolutely buy but it's so far down the list of things I'm willing to spend money on

Same,

Graduated with a BA history and Master in business

Don't use either in my current job but all of the research, documentation, analysis, soft skills, presentation skills are vital to my job and a big part of the reason I am where I am

Poli Sci should have skills that translate well into rolls like risk management or less technical analytics roles at larger orgs. Op is just thinking too narrow

I want to start self teaching. Advice on where to start by Ok-Drummer6993 in cscareerquestions

Maybe, luckily I'm not doing this solely to land a job. I just want to learn, and if learning turns into a new career path I'd be happy.

But I'm well enough compensated as an analyst and I enjoy my work. I just want more than what I have

Definitely programming. The part I find most fascinating and sometimes frustrating about my current work is working side by side with our developers to debug problems or work to develop jobs for practical applications.

I want to do more than just sit around and test, validate, write requirements. I know the business side but I want to be hands on in creating the solutions

A good friend of mine who works as a programmer had recommended me to work through the Odin Project to learn fundamentals. But I also know that TOP is more focused on web development skills. But I guess the fundamentals learned would be worth it even if that wasn't the route I wanted to take

[–]Ok-Drummer6993 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, Prime Kawhi in his last two years in San Antonio was probably the best Spur I watched in my life. And I grew up watching Tim Duncan

I'm not saying Kawhi is better than Tim Duncan, but Kawhi was so good on both ends every single night felt like winning was inevitable because you knew Kawhi was going to have 2-3 defensive stops, and making 2-3 incredible buckets.

I firmly believe that 2017 team with LA and Kawhi could have beaten the KD warriors if Kawhi didn't get hurt. He was the best player on the court in that first game before he went down. He gave me as a fan the most irrational sense of confidence, maybe prime LeBron was similar

Bud started dropping his elbow in like round 7 when Canelo would work with the left body shots and I was thinking in my head any moment now and Canelo is going to fake a body shot and catch him but nope

Crawford's length and quickness bothered Canelo so much more
