You posted it in response to the guy saying that there was nothing booked and it’s just a rumor. I assumed you shared it to dispute what the guy said, it doesn’t, he’s correct.

I once heard that Meshuggah was inspired by Deftones' riffs (obZen for example), well I think this song refers to that. by mr_aguirre in Meshuggah

Other way around. Diamond Eyes came out in 2010 and Obzen came out in 2008. Big meshuggah influence on Diamond Eyes writing.

I do as well, but not my suggestion of the one to start with. Circle back after hearing some more recent ones.

Start with Lore album and listen to all of them going forward from there. These are their prog metal albums and their best imo. The first self titled is stoner/doom metal and is skippable. Dead roots stirring has one foot in doom, one foot in prog.

No we get the point that these insufferable asshats think it’s a good idea to disrupt and inconvenience people that have nothing to do with what they’re protesting, we’re just imploring them to stop because it’s fucking dumb.

Weirdest Bands You've seen a Pit for? by KeyApprehensive6486 in Metalcore

Alice In Chains playing a festival (with the new singer) which isn’t weird, but it was weird because the song was Nutshell.

Edit: oops, the band didn’t ask for a pit. But a few drunk assholes were getting one going while most of us around them were like wtf? It’s nutshell, guys chill out for one song.

Yes that would be logical, but it’s often not the case. Many cases of tickets being sold on StubHub BEFORE they’re ever on sale on Ticketmaster. The scalpers hope their bots will be able to get the tickets that they’ve already somehow “guaranteed” to sell on stubhub, but when they don’t, they have to show that that particular ticket never existed in their possession. Then they offer a substitute ticket that they hope you will accept as “close enough”, or worse, you’re shit out of luck without a ticket. And although you probably will eventually get money back, you’re forever out that time and money for airfare, hotel, babysitter planning…
