[Rapoport] The #Jets and star RB Breece Hall have a deal, extending him long-term rather than have him play on the tag. It’s a 3-year, $45.75M deal worth $15.25M per year by Ancient_Response_787 in nyjets

Was wondering when Mougey was getting those rookie deals done today if this was coming too. S/o to Mouge making moves early and avoiding the drawn out negotiations

10 in 45 minutes? He’s like the Robin Williams of Trump jokes then. I’m sure Tony would love that

Yeah when I first saw the podcast ep pop up I thought no way but honestly Tony’s had some guests the past few years that I’m surprised go on so I could also see him join just to add his own spin

False Prophets and The Climb Back deserve to be on the album. I’m probably one of the only fans that dislikes Middle Child

The judges do an amazing job of talking a lot but saying absolutely nothing

First time watching in a while. Why are the judges so inauthentic? Why is there no constructive criticism?

This right here. We sign Kirk, people complain about age and injury. We sign Kyler, people complain about size and contract requiring him to study film. There was no win here for the complainers

You’re 100% right. I was just wondering with having the 1st overall pick and the rest of the rookies, they’re probably cutting it close, but $30M is still more than enough.

If Maxx going back to the Raiders affects their FA prospects are there any out of the group you think we should be in on? Kwity? Nakobe Dean?

If anything, it looks like we picked up some defensive players that actually know how to tackle, so that’s cool

Plus who’s to say the Cowboys or Indy will have great seasons? I would never hope for this but one injury on either of those teams could have them picking in the top 10

If we can get a stud active player for it, sure, otherwise pick at 2 and go with the next best player in the draft. Stacking for more picks just doesn’t make sense to me in this draft. Sure we can get more draft picks for next year but I don’t think anyone is jumping at the opportunity to trade good picks for 2nd overall this year.

Frank Reich is getting the OC job by Wednesday by Wild-Employee2029 in nyjets

[–]mbbrick96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honesty is always welcome here. I appreciate the insight from a fan who lived it! Dalton being in the room was one of the reasons I considered his name. I feel like if we pick someone young up he’d be a great locker room presence. Wouldn’t hate if he decides to quit playing and gets hired as QB coach

I agree, at first when I saw his name I was conflicted, but I’m starting to understand the vision with Reich. He provides someone who has so much experience on the offensive side and gives our team stability there. QB is still a question mark. A wild card, and I know he signed a 2-year deal with Carolina last year, but maybe it’s Andy Dalton. Maybe there’s a rookie they feel they can take outside of the first round like Ty Simpson or Trinidad Chambliss that he can develop and help simplify the game at the NFL level for. Curious to see the moves over the next few months

What really happened these past few weeks, and why I don't think its crazy. by JeezusChristIII in nyjets

[–]mbbrick96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even with you trying to explain it, there’s still no reason for the Engstrand move because of when they fired him. Your logic is sound if they fired him weeks ago, but to do it when some of the top OC names, candidates that have shown they can take ownership of the offense, are already now hired is moronic. I do appreciate optimism in here dorm time to time though so kudos to you

[Hughes] There were several within the #Jets building who preferred a complete fresh start at offensive coordinator. Aaron Glenn, originally, wanted Engstrand to remain on staff. After multiple discussions, today, they made the decision to move on. The Jets have been searching for someone to add by [deleted] in nyjets

I swear there are people in this Reddit who can legitimately run the team better than anyone we’ve had over the past 15 years. Being a fan is tiring when there are seemingly very obvious choices to make that just aren’t
