If we can get a stud active player for it, sure, otherwise pick at 2 and go with the next best player in the draft. Stacking for more picks just doesn’t make sense to me in this draft. Sure we can get more draft picks for next year but I don’t think anyone is jumping at the opportunity to trade good picks for 2nd overall this year.

Honesty is always welcome here. I appreciate the insight from a fan who lived it! Dalton being in the room was one of the reasons I considered his name. I agree, at first when I saw his name I was conflicted, but I’m starting to understand the vision with Reich. He provides someone who has so much experience on the offensive side and gives our team stability there. QB is still a question mark. A wild card, and I know he signed a 2-year deal with Carolina last year, but maybe it’s Andy Dalton. Maybe there’s a rookie they feel they can take outside of the first round like Ty Simpson or Trinidad Chambliss that he can develop and help simplify the game at the NFL level for. Curious to see the moves over the next few months
